Yeah this sport is fucked up. I feel like even if you are successful you still pay physically.

Gsp tore his ACL twice, and Khabib was out for two years with injuries that almost ended his career. It's amazing they could overcome that.It’s essentially simulated fight to the death, injuries will occur. But your post just made me think, most of the successful ones do leave this sport broken. Conor, Anderson, Bispings. Only one I can think of GSP & Khabib seems to be the ones who are unscathed.
