Bruh wtf are these cards

Now that I'm finally better ( only took 6 neck surgeries, smh), I'll definitely be out and about instead of enduring torturous cards like TS posted. Fuck that shit.

Building stars. I remember when I had no clue who Cody Garbant and Almida were. Questioned that main event. Cody panned out the champ.

@HI SCOTT NEWMAN

I'm sure Tom's dad will be making a new video complaining about it soon enough 😹 😹 😹

Trash names for headliners. I think it's because the top 10 is so picky today and inactive. UFC rewards fighters that rank squat, punishes the ones who stay active and test themselves. Look how

Usman as champ loses 2 fights in a row since 2022, wins a single decision over Buckley in 2025, rank goes from 1>5 today. 3 WW fights, 1 MW since 2022.
Burns ranked #1 in 2022, fights 7 fights in the same time, fights Khamzat, Magny, Masvidal, Belal, JDM, Brady, Morales. Goes from 1>10.

I'm not saying losses shouldn't be punished, but also activity should be rewarded. Would Usman be ranked #5 today if he went through the same gauntlet as Burns 2022-2025? Probably not. So all the divisions are seized up by rankings, the only ones fixing it are punished.

Fucking newbie.

Jk, ✌️😁
I never pay attention to 135 125ers till they blow up. I see the ranked guys. 135 145. Still no 125. I used to follow WMMA when it was good. Still care to see Valentina and Amanda. Also Juliana vs Female Brock.

Everyone you ever heard of started out as someone you never heard of

IDK But Steve Garcia had better win his fight.

He's crying about Volkanovski not being active enough when he's nowhere near a title shot from what I can see. He's only ranked #15 by independent rankings. Nowhere near high enough to be crying like a little girl about the Champ's activity.

you can just not watch. no one is forcing you.
100%, that's exactly what I said earlier in the thread, in fact.

Pick any hobby on earth, picture yourself going to the shooting range for several hours a visit, 40+ Saturdays a year for a decade or more straight....only to have your enthusiasm questioned when you skip a couple in a row to do other shit.
Fandom shouldn't be equated with "how little the quality actually matters"

I agree though, people should skip more cards if anything

I would be legit curious about the actual effects of weekly cards vs the old style (roughly monthly card). I feel like there was so much more build up for those cards which you would think would be the perfect scenario for driving current social media traffic. Doing embedded style daily docs for different fighters would create speculation and interest while keeping the actual events feeling noteworthy and worth tuning in for.
They wouldn't be signing 7.7bn dollar TV deals with just 12-13 'big' cards per year.

There were only 36 cards in 2025 they are planning 43 cards for 2026 on the Paramount deal so be ready for even more watered down crappy cards.

I mean I agree they’re pretty weak but that’s what apex events should be. D tier cards.

pull back that UFC logo and you'll see KOTC branding

I probably know less of the fighters now than you. 😁
