I agree -- those are good fights but they have no business being main events imoView attachment 1117755
Okay it doesn't help that they made such a goofy poster, but I looked up the card after this PPV and almost broke out laughing in the middle of a work meeting because of this ridiculous Garcia vs Onama main event
#12 vs #13 main event
But then where it gets worse is, the main event after that is #14 Bonfim vs unranked Randy Brown

We are getting served some serious slop in November
Is that you Dana?Garcia vs Onama will be good. Garcia absolutely deserves a main event.
And who gives a shit what ranking he is. You'll never know about these sorts of guys if they're not giving their chances to shine.
And this is just in the Apex anyway. It's not like it's some PPV main event.
How dare you not suffer with the rest of us!being a casual MMA fan is so much better than a hardcore. Ga a whole 2 months without knowing wtf is going on then a buddy tells you hey its Aspinall vs Gane this saturday for the heavyweight title. Watch the fights then go on with your life until the next big fight comes along
I seriously hope they are just fucking over ESPN because they know their contract is up and they are booking known ranked fighters for Paramount.Hopefully they step up their game with Paramount
Is that you Dana?

Disagree on that, they're part of the changing of the guard in that Garcia put the final nail in the Kattar coffin and Onama got past Giga (barely, but still). It's actually the right move to have a fresh matchup between two guys trying to break into the top 10.Fair - decent odds of a good scrap - just imo for a good main event, better to not match two unproven prospects against each other because then it looks like two no-names who have only beaten scrubs
I was raised on bologna, and I can tell you it's not something you order when you go out.sometimes you eat baloney not just steaks
Ortega is beyond shot I'm afraid. Sucks bc I'm a big TCity fan. But he loses the way Tony lost to Justin, except its almost every time and he nearly dies when doing one weight cut every 14 months now.Disagree on that, they're part of the changing of the guard in that Garcia put the final nail in the Kattar coffin and Onama got past Giga (barely, but still). As for Ortega, isn't he having a ton of issues making 145 which is why he wants to move to LW?
