You need to understand this is sport entertainment. This is not pure sport. UFC is a private for-profit organization that wants to make a lot of money.
In perspective of a true non-profit, olympic-like professional sport, things like this are unpermitted and would greatly undermine organizing bodies' legitimacy if happen. UFC is a sport entertainment entity, if they can make money by setting up fights that attract money, they truly don't give a fuck.

They partnered with USADA to make their competitions look more legit, but still, it doesn't change the fact that UFC IS a for-profit promotion. BTW hiring good shills to twist minds is a effective way to do PR for many companies.

In reality I want this fight to happen because I want Masvidal to collect his big paycheck. I am a real fan of the dude, so I want the best for him.
