Bruce Buffer is bad

Bruce Buffer and Mike Goldberg were always subpar and overstayed their welcome. Brain-scorched Joe Rogan, Arianny Celeste, and Brittney Palmer are also past their primes and have overstayed their welcome. They all need to go.

He does take way to fucking long to announce

When he's doing his thing, in his mind he IS the event...
That said, he's the worst part of watching the UFC. Prelims he averages 90 seconds to intro. Main event? 3 god damn minutes of his vocal truffle shuffle.
Can't stand him.
I have to assume there are parameters in his contract as to the length range of the intros.

You know an announcer sucks when they start to use gimmicks cuz they know their voice isn't shit. Also, you know he's bad when the women who are at the party, who didn't even come to watch the fights say... this guy sucks! That's the best they could do?

Yeah he's like Rogan announcing. Not great, but he's who I associate, and big events wouldn't feel like big UFC events without them.

I also even somehow miss Goldberg at times

I still miss the gladiator too

I miss the wec announcer. I have to mute bruce buffer. I can grill a steak and bake a potato in the time it takes him to finish announcing a main event.

He's ridiculously over the top, has fake abs and appears to enjoy the company of prostitutes over regular women. It's all a bit pathetic for a man of his age imo.

That being said, I near shit myself with excitement when I saw/heard him at the first Scottish event back in 2015. Like it or not he has become an integral part of the UFC experience for a lot of people.

First of all, Buffer doesn't do THAT bad a job, considering the all the different languages, countries, and cities he has to pronounce.

Secondly, I'm seeing a Martinez push here, which is weird as I've ALWAYS thought he gave off a cheap, knock-off vibe. . . and doesn't do any better with the announcing (and his comedic over-pronunciation of Hispanic names is cringe-inducing)**

** And this is coming from a fluent Spanish speaker married to a Spaniard and living in Spain.
Over-pronouncing Latin seems to be a thing that lots of people do when they pretend they get Spanish and act like they are all knowledgeable about the culture. In reality it's just the pop culture, knowing a couple Spanish lines from songs, or know the common curse words. Just to give the impression that they know another language. Almost like being Mexican/Spanish is the new gangsta phase although that one is still pretty prevalent as lots of people like to act hard. I would guess Martinez knows Spanish but I don't know.

He works too hard, should just do PPV shit with Joe Rogan and make money doing Cameo video's if needs be in the mean time... It's time.

He's part of their "brand." If you don't like it, you're going to have to get by hitting mute and making a beer run to the fridge just before the fight starts.

Buffer is very popular lmao. All Buffer haters must be on sherdog. When I attended my first live event in Stockholm Buffer was there and the entire crowd went absolutely wild during his announcement yelling along with him.
