From the start, I thought he was a great announcer for the UFC, with a look and voice that fits it way more than Martinez' (which I particularly dislike) or even his brother's.

While I think I'd eventually get used to his absense, kind of like when Goldy went away (though I still prefer when Rogan is in the commentary team), I think he's even more iconic, being one of the few reasons why I sometimes don't skip the intros.

Joe Martinez is usually liked around sherdog and its probably the next main guy once Buffer retires, i like him but i think Bruce Buffer = UFC just like his brother means Boxing, why dont you like him?

No thanks, don't need it. I like watching muted. I don't need nonstop play-by-play and/or commentary for combat sports. Definitely don't need Buffer spewing his nonsense.

...If need be, I will watch reruns later on on Youtube. Then I will 'maybe' listen to the play-by-play and some commentary. But even then I will usually mute and watch the match at .25 or .50 speed. Check out the stuff that is difficult to catch full speed.
