They have probably discussed his personality and marketing angle though, right? I don't really know, but some of this has got to be an act?

I agree. It seems he believes that his talent will carry him through but there have been plenty of talented athletes from the past that have lost it all due to bad decisions. The fight against Maidana will answer a lot of questions.
