This thread is on fire, like AB's bung's about to be if he doesn't get some good lawyers asap. #BowlerLivesMatter
Probably. Same goes for Edwin Valero. Its easy to watch these guys fights and ponder the what ifs, but boxing doesn't need violent criminals representing the sport. People make mistakes, sure, but both of those guys had long histories of violence that ended in tragedy.I get the sentiment. Was boxing better without Carlos Monzon?
If he goes to Whole Foods and Nordstrom, the rain stops there.
This is true. Lets see how many stacks he got left, after a few bottles of raisen infused glacier water from the tibet plateau. I think not Mr. Broner, I think not indeed.
Feeling like its time to compare this to the Cody Gibson situation and making a thread about boxings superiority in the heavies
Broner is an example of why this country is in shambles. Here you have a guy who exhibits disgraceful behavior in and out of the ring, doesn't take fights seriously, yet people pay to watch this crap and in turn support him and his reckless lifestyle. Meanwhile, you have honest, hard working fighters like Rigo who don't cheat or take shortcuts, or commit crimes, or embarrass himself om TMZ. Who comes to this country looking for opportunity and then get thrown under the bus for doing his job properly and behaving like professionals.
Good riddance is all I can say about Broner. He's not the type of person I want to support.
Guys like Broner should NOT be successful. Guys like Rigo SHOULD be successful. Maybe they will in the future when we get some real change.
