It was a humbling defeat, but I don't think Khabib beat Conor badly enough.

If Khabib smushed Conor into mush, Conor would stop talking, he would be all the way outta there. Don't get me wrong, bad loss for Conor, but it could have been much worse to either guy's credit.

Conor talking like this means he wasn't as crushed as we thought he was.

Khabib should have let that shit go and proceded into smashing into a pulp. Maybe he intended to, but chicken chose McNuggets over strawberry pie way too quickly.

I think they could easily not notice an injury that they are not made aware of, and dont examine. His post fight examinations wouldve been checking for a concussion and things like that.

they dont automatically say "hey, let me see your feet"

Were did you get that information?

Of course they would check a swollen broken foot??
