NFL Brock Purdy vs Tom Brady

I'm not so sure Purdy is the best QB on the 49ers roster right now. They should have let Mac Jones play out the season
do Bubby Brister v John Elway next

Really, Johnny U had Hall of Fame RB Lenny Moore, Hall of Fame WR Ray Berry, Hall of Fame TE John Mackey, Hall of Fame left tackle Jim Parker

Dan Fouts had 1000 yarders Chuck Muncie, Kellen Winslow, Charlie Joiner, John Jefferson

Terry Bradshaw was one of NINE Hall of Famers

Bart Starr one of NINE Hall of Famers

Dude bone up on this stuff, ok?

Kurt Warner had THE GREATEST SHOW ON TURF

Norm Van Brocklin had Deacon Dan Towler, Tank Younger, Sprint Champ Bob Boyd, Tom Fears, Crazy Legs Hirsh

Otto had Marion Motley, Dante Lavelli, Mac Speedie

Peyton had Edgerrin James, Marvin Harrison, Reggie Wayne, Dallas Clarke

Aikman had Emmitt, Irvin, Novachek
Brady also QBd the only team to go 16-0 and blew it in the Super Bowl.

Dude what QB was more successful in Superbowls than Tom Brady, well?

Hell guy the GREAT Dan Marino couldn't even win one, neiter could HALL OF FAMERS Warren Moon, Dan Fouts, Fran Tarkenton, Jim Kelly.

Go to anywhere talking the greatest QB;s ever, why is Tom Brady ALWAYS number one, well?

Why do I a Niner fan put him above my hero Joe Montana, well?

I do agree with that and said so somewhere out there.

But, do think Purdy is better just not this seasonl

All the QBs you mentioned are a league above Brady.

Rocky cool the trolling ok, that's what little dumbass kids play.

Tom Brady is hte most successful QB in football history, and you know that.

I'm not arguing who has had the most success I'm arguing who are the more skilled and talented QBs. Brady is not close to top ten all time.

And Betty White loves you. Don't do her a disservice by saying she couldn't succeed with Brady's teams.

Betty White sucked at flag football, she played in a city league in El Paso, had the nickname.....TuTu,,,,yep, ????

Brady is the second most talented QB i have seen, and to do it with his lack of mobiity, pretty amazing.

Sorry Rocky but I wil go with my experience over yours, got it?

Wilson is a SB champ
A 10 time pro bowler
Highest paid player in history for awhile
Top 15 in all those career numbers, most top 5ish
He was wanted by 4 teams
ONLY over 5000 rushing/46,000 yards QB

Next stop Canton.

Did you read,,,,,,,as a pro....?
Getting back to comp%/passer rating combined, Leaf............................98.4..........ouch~~~~~~~~
Yeah Leaf was drafted by a "pro" team before Manning... therefore he was overrated... as a "pro"

not complicated to follow the logic

I'll put it another way for you... Elway was drafted by a "pro" team and eventually after a long career, he quarterbacked that franchise a title. Leaf also drafted by a "pro" team did not.

Simple... math.

Were they drafted because of their ....pro....accomplishments or their.....college....accomplishments, that's called....common sense, give it a shot ok skippy?

As a....pro....Leaf did absolutely nothing, hence............not highly regarded at all,

lol so you understood my point, I think you are sharp enough to see the comparisons between the two, but... you can't let that get in the way of your hyperbolic statement

My point is very simple, nobody is talking about NCAA football, that is where Ryan Leaf made his name, once a.....pro....he did nothing at all.

You appear to not grasp that concept at all

Elway the most over rated QB in history.
My point is... you are wrong... Elway is not the most overrated QB in history...

If you don't want to include NCAA then be specific. If you think Elway is the most overrated NFL QB then say so. Either way you are being hyperbolic and kind of ridiculous

While shuckin' n' jivin'...

Would anyone believe early in his career Jim Brown a 230 pound fullback returned kickoffs?

And, back then a lot of starting RB's were kick returners, guys like Bobby Mitchell (Browns RB) Gale Sayers, Timmmy Brown, Abner Haynes, Terry Metcalf, Ollie Matson.

Ollie Matson was an Olympic 400m bronze medalist and the fastest man in football in his day, he was a Chicago Cardinal, the Rams traded nine players to get him.

While at U of San Francisco his team The Dons (Bill Russell) got an invite to a bowl game in the south, but, they had to leave Matson and another black player home, so the team.....fuck you....so they didn't go.

Hall of Famer the great Ollie Matson

Brock Purdy vs Tom Brady didn't give it away this is about PRO football?

How about this.....in my opinion based on 65ish years of experience (got into it around 10) I think Elway is the most overraed QB ever, better?

In that video the guy mentions Matson winning two bronze medals at those 1952 Olympics, nope, he won a bronze and the silver in the 4x4 relay, Jamaica winning the gold in world record time.

In that race the great Jamaican Herb McKenley (ran for Illinois) ran the first sub 45.0 with his 44,6 split. He had also won the silver in the 100m.

Before Matson there was tiny Buddy Young a USA/NCAA sprint champ, all 5-4 170 pounds of him. He was the roots to that speedy African American NFL speedsters tree,

Just how fast was Bullet Bob Hayes?

Well, since he entered the league he has always been the fastest to ever play pro football.

Tyreek Hill runs a 10,15 Hayes ran a 10.06 on a dirt track in 1964.

Hayes was involved in 11 world records, the first to run a sub 6.0 for the 60, and his Olympic 4x1 anchor is still consdered to be the greatest display of ...varoooooommm....ever witnessed, he was clocked in 8.6 .

He is and always will be the only sprinter to hold the 60, 100 yard, 100 meter, 220yard, 200m, 4x1 world records.

Blessing in disquise?

In that relay two of our top sprinters, Mel Pender, and soon to be Eagles Trenton Jackson pulled up in their 100m heats, so they were out of that 4x1. Enter a couple of our 200m cats wo had no work with the team, so at the final exchange we were way behind, if not for those injuries we would have had the lead and no run down by the Bullet..

Gerry Ashworth was out of Dartmouth and the last white sprinter on a USA Olympic 4x1 team.

At 190 pounds Hayes was huge for a 100m sprinter, and would be huge today.

While at Florida A&M he was a fullback, his RB was Bob Paremore a 9,4 cat, that will always be the fastest RB combo ever,

The statement you made was clearly wrong.

Elway is the most overrated QB in history.

Elway is the most overrated NFL QB in history.

Both are opinions (everyone has one and they all stink) and both are riddled in hyperbole.

My claim about Ryan Leaf means only one of those claims can be true. You totally understood that, so be specific next time and you won't seem like such a fool.

Next time you enter a thread OBVIOUSLY talking PRO FOOTBALL don't bring in BS about a draft of an NCAA player.

Dude, let it go being desperate is not a good look, ok?

And of all the QB;s I have seen since 1958 John Ekway is the most over rated, ok guy?

Google his numbers, you'll see reality.

56.9 comp% is terrible, 79.9 passer rating is terrible, 300/226 TD/INT ratio is bad,
