Brock Lesnar To Fight Bob Sapp

Good, now let's see how he does against a semi-formitable opponent.

Not like this thread is a year old or anything like that.

will never happen.. its Bodog or UFC for lesner plus look at the date on this..

Out of Sapp own mouth he is done with K-1 he was looking for another promotion now even that seems in limbo. I really do not think he has the heart to fight again that being said if the rumors are true they paid Brock Lesner 500,000 grand for his last fight he going to have a hard time finding work in an MMA org. As much as I want to see him in MMA I just do not think UFC going to put up the money it would take to sign him seeing that he is still largely unproven in MMA.

I am embarassed but i will admit i would pay money to see this fight.

The guy has no MMA training except for college wrestling and fake wrestling but everyone is jumping on his nuts because of his size. Next thing you know, Rey Mesterio will start fighting MMA and everyone will pick him to beat BJ Penn.

he's been training now for over a year, combined with his size, athleticism, and wrestling background, he will be a force. oh and rey mesterio was never an undefeated ncaa wrestling champ. exactly how much mma training did kos have before tuf?? and now he's one of the top ww contenders 3 years later. lesnar's wrestling is comparable to his. anyway, lesnar gnp stoppage round 1.

Remember that the Heavyweight division in D-1 wrestling is way different from all the other weight classes in D-1. 95% plus of the time in the heavyweight diviion the entire match is engeaged in a clinch, where the wrestlers are trying to execute a very fundamental Greco style takedown. Rarely do you see any action beyond that, other than possibly a stand-up escape. This is even true for Lesnar. I saw a lot of his matches. He really spent little time on the ground throughout his entire wrestling career. He probably executed less than 10 variations of techniques during his whole wrestling career. Notwithstanding, he holds almost every record in the University of Minnesota weight room. With that kind of strength, he doesn't need a lot of techniques. Should be a fun match to watch.

haha....how can anyone credit Sabb's stand up skills when his punches look like in slow-mo?

one word guy, SPEED KILLS!

Bob Sapp better pray he don't end up at the hopital after this fight!

I think Lesnar is going to run over Sapp bad. I picture Sapp/Fujita all over again.

Funny how few people actually read the links...the article was from May 2006.

ALL HYPE, NO FIGHT.

holy shit...i know its a freakshow fight but god damn! i may even buy this piece of shit!
