Nah. The Metro is honestly the best paper in Philadelphia, though I can't speak for other cities. They distribute something like a million copies a week here. If you try to find one after about 12pm, you won't find one, even though they're literally everywhere in the morning. As for the ads, they suck, but is it any different from a website or any other paper these days? Fuck, Philadelphia's other free paper, Citypaper, is literally nothing but ads and sponsored content with no actual news.
