Who wins: Brock Lesnar or Francis Ngannou

I suppose his chances go up if it's a 3 rounder. Just lay on him for 15 minutes.
 
PED Lesnar who beat Hunt could beat Ngannou. Ngannou has one chance to land a punch, then he is on his back like he was against Stipe. He hasn't improved and he hasn't had much time in the cage since he lost last time. He does one thing well, the same as every other power puncher we have seen in MMA history. They tend to do bad against guys who put them on their back.

It’s hard to catch someone with their level changed, and for a big boy Brock gets LOW. I don’t think Ngannou touches him and even if he did Brock’s chin has always been iron, it’s been accumulative stoppage post-diverticulitis surgery that he had trouble with. I don’t think Ngannou can produce that sort of output without gassing badly.


Low man wins in wrestling and Brock shoots takedowns like the smaller wrestler. He ain’t getting caught from that level.

Yeah, Francis has "the puncher's chance" in my view.

Hunt had a pretty nice streak in the UFC around that time though. That was kind of his "prime", he was worse during Pride era

Edit: 4 fight win streak after losing UFC debut (can, Rothwell, Kongo, Struve ko'd dead. Then he lost to a ~prime JDS, draw with roided Bigfoot, KO'd Roy Nelson, lost to Werdum and Stipe, then KO'd Bigfoot and Mir dead before the Lesnar UFC 200 fight.

At the time he was probably a win away from title contention and was only losing to the very best HWs

Obviously the match could go one of two ways - Ngannou knocks Lesnar out on the feet or Lesnar takes him down and likely finishes him via GnP or a sub from the top.

The outcome would be very variable, but I would bet on Lesnar. If Stipe 50-44 wrestlefucked him then Lesnar does unless he's caught and does the crab

Stipe was able to set up his TDs with his standup. Lesnar just spams TDs and that might work. Or not. But Lesnar doesn’t take any of the bombs stipe did and keeps fighting.

Yeah I think it's close a to 50/50 fight honestly. I'm not sure if Ngannou stays on his feet, and if he doesn't he probably gets finished.

But Ngannou could easily KO him or send him panicking into a TKO finish standing. Genuinely I think either man could win that fight. Lesnar could very feasibly beat Ngannou, and vice versa.
 
Both of their weaknesses are exceptionally glaring when facing each other.

That being said..... Lesnar's chin is good, but it shows when he gets caught in a flurry of punches.

We often say look at his chin he took so many punches and went on to beat Carwin.

When fighting Cain it took a lot of punches for Cain to get the TKO.

That being said as good as his chin is, he doesn't react well to punches and can get tagged a lot. He relies on surviving these to take out a gassed opponent

My point being the way he takes shots will leave him exposed in this potential matchup

Ngannou Was taken down MULTIPLE times in the first round against Stipe LOL... you’re essentially saying he gasses 2 minutes into the fight.

Lol HW who didnt react well to getting hit against a savage like Ngannou.

Brock would have to telegraph his TD's from the opposite side of the cage cause if they get in striking distance and Francis touches him Brock would turn into a turtle real quick
