Brock had the most freak potential

Diverticulitis did more than the “new breed”, which tanked pretty fast itself
They all had destructive abilities which was fostered by very brutal training. Fighting and brutalizing eachother while their bodies had to endure training camps(For guys like Cain, very foolish ones) it's not a surprise that they tanked pretty fast.

This is not a joke sport like Boxing, a pathetic 'duck eachother for years, beating cans in order to marinate a superfight once they're over the hill'. These guys wasted no time destroying eachother.

That disease is usually due to steroids. Even at his peak he was not that great, his coordination is so funny, he is slow, weird punches.

He was tough and obviously very strong with good wrestling, also his cardio was ok...
Slow? Your delusional. Brock was fast as hell. Especially for a heavyweight

Had Brock started in 99 instead of 09 - who knows. But MMA was a niche sport then and Noone would of really known who he was . Could he of beaten Arlovski, Sylvia, Big Nog, Fedor. When those guys were at peak?

Gable has potential he's a betred grappler than Brock and same freak athlete - he might not quite have the power Brock had but hes still strong
Brock would have been the face of the UFC and the one beating Ken's brains in at UFC 40...

Brock is a beast but lacks in striking IQ. Brock doesn't react to getting it well at all...you can tell he's not use to being a nail.

The problem there is you're comparing Mir to the new breed. Frank was tough but had a different style based on grappling and he wasn't focused on TDD. Brock had his number once he figured out submissions. Nevertheless, Werdum would have folded Brock up 900 different ways on the matt.

I don't see a younger version of Brock doing better against Cain and Ubereem. They were too good everywhere and too brutal in exploiting his weaknesses. I mean do you think the disease also caused him to be scared of getting hit? No, that was all on him.
The disease absolutely affected him mentally and physically. I've had some health scares (nothing that serious) and can attest to that. Also, this was Overroid's first UFC fight and he flew out of the U.S. to skip a drug test before that fight. I know Brock has done PEDs, but I don't think he was at that time. He looked somewhat deflated, and Overreem looked like a comic book character just like his Strikeforce fights. Overeem failed a test before his next fight and then went on to lose to Browne, Bigfoot and Rothwell. This was peak and fully roided Overeem that no one else fought in the UFC.

Overeem cheated against Brock Lesnar by using roids? LOL alright man fine.

Maybe he would be . He likely ends up in Pride tho where tbr big guns were Fedor and Nog . Properly trained I think his strength would be too much for Nog . Fedor I still bet on Fedor there. Brock starting right after college and learning striking and better technique grappling - yeah hes a monster ....... still take Fedor though

2008/9 Brock wins the 2000 GP

Herring was around 30 when he fought Brock and had just beaten the main UFC gatekeeper, Kongo. He was as good as he ever was.
You can be past your prime at 30 years old. You're talking about a fighter that started in 1997, who had 45 fights within a 10 year period. Herring was a party animal, did not train much, and had been sidelined due to injuries during his 20s. It was literally his last fight, so I don't see what basis there is that he was "as good as ever", unless you are saying he was not good.

Heath squeaking a split decision against Kongo who was far from being a top ten heavyweight would speak against how good Heath was then. (Kongo himself was not in his prime yet)

He was not a relevant fighter in 2008, and many fans had already even forgotten him by then. Heath was more famous as the guy in a gif who knocked out someone who kissed him by the time he fought Brock Lesnar. Heath also fought Brock on short notice. It was supposed to be Mark Coleman, who was also past his prime in 2008, which says a lot about the intention of Lesnar's booking.

Heath was relevant in the early 2000s, not the late 2000s.

I know Rogans standup isn’t actually funny but he used to have a bit about being picked up and banged by Brock and it was pretty funny

Brock had no chin though and was scared to take any strikes.

He is the definition of a frontrunner.

Beating Heath herring means absolutely nothing. What skills did that guy even have? Decent power? Terrible takedown defense and overall grappling...

He was an average sized chap back in the day for sure

Yeah a little scrony brat. Anyone can get yolked if they get an unlimited supply of PEDs. Also, ever notice all these dudes busting for PEDs all have that ped nipple look? Its a dead give away. Though I haven't had a chance to prove this theory for women yet, but would love to test it out.
