I'm happy Kenny Florian didn't get fired but if he wasn't let go I don't see why Fox couldn't cut Ariel some slack.

I know half of the responses will be dripping with hate haha but that's the appeal of Helwani, love him or hate him the guy is interesting and an excellent MMA journalist, I expect this to do little to rectify him being let go but at the very least it'll show the guy some love.

He seems to be OK with the situation. The parting was amicable according to his twitter post.
 
Helwani was not fired from FOX, he quit and left. they are not up to his level in MMA terms and he didnt like his use and format. he wants to just focus soley on mmafighting.

He didn't leak it, the person who told him did. He's a journalist, it's his job to report what he knows.

Can't see why the UFC would be so mad about that.

If Helwani falling on his sword, somehow causes the UFC to not make that fucking stupid re-match. Then he did me a great favour. I suspect others will agree.

I like the guy. But, quit or fired... Move on.

I'm not exactly putting my life on hold, I think one tweet and one thread is reasonable, I like the way he interviews people and I'd like to see him back covering Fox events.
