Bring Back A Fighter

None of them would win gold. I will say it until I am blue in the face, the skill gap between now and 20 years ago, 10 years ago, even 5 years ago is the Grand Canyon.

Nahhh

BJ PENN's unique combination of skills could beat most guys of any gen. He just has to get it together mentally

Don't mean to lean on you, B-forge but really ?
This dude was given every advantage and spoke the biggest game ever as a young man and has gone down as one of thee most overrated fighters in this sports history.

#it's all good
Yeah. I’d like to see how he’d stack up as the consensus around seems to be that LHW is very weak

But these choices are being brought back at a young enough age to improve on their primes with modern training and techniques, no?

No ones following the rules. If I were mod id ban them.
It's devolved into chaos, but whatever. I've been here long enough to know that's how things go around here lol

Man It sucks that he never got there, so close. Who knows what mightve happened had he had taken out Volk (he was closer than most in the last few years).

Retired a little too soon, imo
he probably lost to volk and thought “fuck, now im losing to regional rugby manlets, im washed, time to retire.” wouldn’t surprise me.

but really, i think chad saw the road ahead was a rough one. he had his title shots and came up short twice. after losing to volk, he woulda had to win at least 3 in a row before ufc put him in there for a belt again.

What's that ?

You making fun of me being deaf god damn it? Lol

I got 2 Bellator guys I'd like to get some opinions on (remember they will be 26 but have skills from their primes)...

Yeah true, and I guess the reality is Volk kept getting better, and I'm not sure Mendez would've done the same. I got the vibe from the Conor fight and Volk fight that he did have a little bit of quit in him. His head probably just wasn't in it any more
