I think it isn't as good of an idea as it seems because no one packs your container with so many fries that you can just put a puddle of ketchup in with the fries.
This invention is actually not a bad idea.

But if the ketchup is at the bottom of the container and you're a double dipper--take a bite of fry and then re-dip--you have to stick your fingers/hand and remaining fry deep into the container. Also, a puddle of ketchup at the bottom can saturate the fries which is yucky. This contraption avoids that.
