I thought she was charismatic and likable in 21 Jump St. Then she had zero of that in Captain Marvel.

Yeah she was very good in the Room and I enjoyed her on Scott pilgrim but she was not the right fit for Captain Marvel. Something about her playing CM seemed off. One of the few marvel movies I wasnt a fan of and that includes some of the thor movies.

While maybe the casting could've been better, I didn't think Captain Marvel was terrible though like some people act. I think some folks put extras on it because of her "no white males" comment, or whatever she said.

Well she was clearly miscast as Captain Marvel, or she took the role for the cash only

Its not like she has zero charisma or zero comedic timing but she was pretty wooden in her marvel showings

I don't think it helps that the character is written as a Mary Sue, presumably because Disney thinks that will sell? In reality though it makes for an extremely dull character.
