Brian Ortega will kill Aldo

I think so too. Too long and big for Aldo. Has cardio for days and not afraid to push you. Ortega probably finishes Also

Excessive weight cutters?

Lol, how much cut is too much? If a guy can cut weight safely and consistently, he isn’t cutting too much.

I do think that weight cutting has become more a factor over the past 15 years and that has contributed to a general increase in size of fighters by division. It’s a part of the evolution of the sport as it becomes more professional.

It could be the case if he can get it to the ground, but otherwise Aldo will school him in stand.

Aldo cuts a shitload of weight too.

Love Ortega, but he got outstruck by Clay Guida of all people. Taking Aldo's TDD into account as well, I really don't see how you would think Ortega ''kills'' Aldo.

Id love to see Jose Oldthough smash the overrated Ortega.

Honestly this is just ridiculous. Aldo is literally more skilled everywhere only arguable advantage for Ortega is his cardio and durability which may give him a chance over 5 rounds. Aldo out struck Holloway for the first 2 rounds of each fight, he can dominate Ortega with ease there a guy that was struggling with Edgar and Cub.

Ortega will never take Aldo down, Aldo's TDD is insane and Ortega can't wrestle for shit.

Ortega is way too hittable. Aldo hits hard as fuck stunned Max before and just finished Stephens. Brian would get seriously hurt.

Only real chance Ortega has is a fluke KO or Sub from clinch but Aldo's grappling and awareness is way too good for a sub and the guy just ate bombs off Stephens.

Wtf is Ortega gonna do? he doesn't have the skill or urgency to do what Max did. Probably just gets abused for most of the fight then at best claws back 1 round at then end.

That proven roid cheater soyboy physique Roidtega hasnt done nearly enough to deserve the hype hes getting, when he looses the fickle Shertards wont be long about returning him to "bum" status.

Brian Ortega beats a 36 year old washed up Frankie and people think he's good.
Jose Aldo beats a perpetual journeyman Jeremy Stephens and people think he is "back".

This featherweight division is WEAK AF without Conor. It's sad!

Lol, Ortega doesnt need a TD to snatch the neck. He will push the pace and has the better chin. He'd eventually drown Aldo, and can easily go blow for blow.

You say Ortega's way to hittable, but so is Aldo. And Ortega's defence and chin is good enough to roll out of punches etc.

Also I dont think Ive seen ortega seriously hurt before and he's faced some good guys who can crack, so I dont think Aldo can hurt him as badly as you think.

Be sure to let Max's doctors know.

Tbh it’s a part of the evolution of the sport as long they keep the current ridicolous weight rules
Rules can easily be changed to force athletes to fight in theyr natural weight division

When you got guys like Till bragging about be "a LHW at WW" does'nt sound professional, just sound coward legalized cheating lol

The point of this sport should not be who's best at cut weight to fight at size advantage, but who's best on skill/athletic level between two fighters of similar size

Also weight cutting also push some to don't even offer the best performance fighting in theyr best shape, some straight sacrify quality to have size advantage wich is ridicolous
Think Rumble at WW and LHW, wich one seem his athletical peak?

Really? Edgar only lost to Aldo in the division and was about to fight for the title. How is he washed up? And Stephens was on the best win streak of his career. Conor isn't ever fighting in the division again and it's not like Conor ever beat a bunch of elite FWs either.

Those excessive weight cutters are killing themselves to make 145lbs.

Aldo himself usually looks drained and weak at the weighins. The other 145lbers who are excessive weight cutters usually look even worse as if they're knocking at death's door.
