lol, i never thought i'd connect england with affordable, but you can at least for the moment.

Toronto is like 80% of the cost of London but a quarter as interesting to live in or visit. Believe me, Torontonians know what overpriced living is like.

Wait - it only costs 10% of your dollar value to get rid of incoming migrants and muslims!? That's a value deal!

I joke, I joke.

But seriously I'm going to make a fucking killing on Gold right now - thanks brexit!!!

I have been watching the BBC broadcast all night with a smile on my face.

To make the consequences as terrible as possible to discourage others from leaving. Why would they?
You make it sound like Brexit is a declaration of war. It isn't.

Why would they? The UK has a viable economy and a population large enough that it's worth making profitable deals with. It's not a 3rd world broke ass shit hole, and there won't be any sanctions put in place.
Yes let's base all decisions off 45 year projections.

Yeah idk how feasible that is in the global economy that is today. What the eu and uk have been together for 40 years now? The world and economy has changed so much since.

True, but I think no matter, the end results it's going to be very much business as usual within a few years. It's not like there's a model to reference in predicting an outcome to this.

No matter what the "this is the end of the world", and nutty predictions should be interesting to follow.

What do you think is going to happen with Scotland? Can they have another referendum to leave the UK? Or there is no interest in leaving the UK and keep being part of the EU instead at the moment.
thats whats already being mentioned, every region in Scotland voted to Remain...... theres no democratic mandate there for the UK to pull us out. if they do we are more than entitled to our independence

Nigel Farage has apparently said that independence has been won without a single bullet being fired. Watch the left go to town on him for that re: Jo Cox

I actually think the tactics of Remain camp helped the Leave camp tremendously. While I support UK remaining in EU with some conditions, I hated how Remain supporters constantly threaten consequences/punishment for Britain if it leaves. On top of that, branding Leave camp supporters as xenophobic racists did nothing to promote dialogue.

People tend to dig their heels in and double down on their stance when demonized. The Leave camp had that look in its eyes tonight, and they're going for the win.

same as what most people say about muslims and terrorists, not all Leave voters are racists, but most racists voted Leave
And Anjem Chowdry wanted Britain to remain , because it was better for Islamists to have British immigrtion policy curtailed by the EU.

Thanks a lot, Brits! You just made my Japanese vacation this summer bloody expensive.

same as what most people say about muslims and terrorists, not all Leave voters are racists, but most racists voted Leave

Yea, which is the exact reason you shouldn't call leave voters racist. It's just the same as calling Muslims terrorists.

Voting for the Brexit was dumb shit. Now the UK will just have to spend the next two years negotiating 100+ treaties with the EU to fill up the legal vacuum that will be left.

It would be pretty funny if this celebration turns into a full out panic if the pound and the economy tanks when the market opens.

Cameron should say fuck you guys and do nothing to stabilize it.
