Breaking: Conor McGregor signs EIGHT fight UFC Deal - Proper 12 Sponsor for every fight

He's got Khabib, Diaz 3, and maybe Khabib 2 if he happens to beat Diaz, then he's done.

not surprising

Conor is about where Floyd was post de la hoya, Hatton.

If he retired at this stage of his career It would be similarly ridiculous
Floyd was undefeated and about to make a fortune, conor already got waxed and made as much as he ever will. not similar at all.

Boss move. Sounded like he was already setting up to fight the winner of Dustin/Diaz. So he's going to keep his schedule busy. Great news.

This is all the hope I need

Even to his last breath, he was hilarious.

Has this ever lead to success? I'm remembering Andersons 10 fight deal, Jacares 8 fight deal, Holly's 8 fight extension after beating ronda, none have turned out to be a good thing from what I've seen. Not that it will matter cause conor will just retire if he loses again, but still....

Thought he'd have another go in boxing tbh.

It's a fairly accurate comparison for that stage of their careers.

They were both similarly aged, similar level of popularity and at the peak of their money making potential. Undefeated or not, It is irrelevant to those points.

To say Conor made as much as he ever will, you've gotta be pretty blind to make that assessment. He's getting paid more than he ever has both in guaranteed money and also revenue percentages

you live In a delusional fantasy world and for that reason are not entitled to an opinion.

Haven't read the thread, but I'm betting I'll be the first person to observe that Conor would only negotiate this contract if he thought he was in danger of seeing his value drop after a loss to Khabib. Not a good sign for Conor's confidence heading into this fight.

At that point Floyd had not peaked in popularity or earnings. As much as you wish your boy could compare to floyd its not even close.

Nope, I've been suicidal since my divorce 5 years ago.

As someone who has been lurking here for far too long, you are a great poster man and your posts always have me dying with laughter.
And as someone who has also been suicidal, shits not worth it man. Keep up the sick posts on sherdog, and maybe start sand blasting hookers with JJ.
Anything to keep the bolivian at bay.

More like him returning has resulted in a massive increase in ufc traffic across all platforms after his layoff and he cashed in massively

I've been a fan of Floyd for over a decade, ever since I started training boxing. I wish nothing, don't give a fuck.

Conor retiring now would be comparably ridiculous as If Floyd retired post Hatton. Floyd only became a ppv star post dlh but was on the verge of his peak in earning potential and popularity, which happened a few years later. Just as Conor Is now, presuming he continues to win.

I'd say they have a very comparable trajectory

If you've wached mma long enough youd know the sport is cruel when you lose. Fans will not give a literal flying fuck about you. You'll have never been good . If conor loses to Khabib His stock drops significantly. Another one to nate it continues . The gimmick has worn off already but a win gets the train rolling again.
