I used to collect all kinds of things. Pogs, bottle caps, you name it. But eventually I realized it was just a waste of time. So I stopped some time around the 7th grade.

one thread you have brunson getting an expensive car the other you see that moreno spends his money on toys. the funny thing is in ten years brunson wont be seeing that money he put out ever again but moreno will probably end up with 10x his investment with the way all these collectible hobbies go.

its pretty acceptable these days to do it. a not of normal people do. better then the art market , cooler shit. nostalgia and childhood memories kind of thing. instead of like pretentious bullshit.

It's fun but a major pita for upkeep and god forbid you relocate. I've lost so much stuff over the years but I'm also a serious headcase so there is that too.

I used to collect Spawn action figures and other Mcfarlane toys several years ago. But I'd always take them out of the box which obviously isn't recommended for resale value. I have a couple of plastic tubs packed away around here somewhere with a bunch of loose figures. Oh, and I had some Chaos Comics stuff as well, Evil Ernie and Lady Death and a few others.

That’s awesome. To each its own. I got a friend who collects statues/ action figures. Some are fucking insane. His Spawn and Avengers shit is unreal. My uncle collects vintage watches... dude’s got a Paul Newman Daytona. Crazy.

I'm not into most of what I can see from the pics, but I'm of the opinion that people who are really passionate about pretty much any hobby are cooler than those who aren't passionate about anything. So props to him.

P.S. I'll admit that I don't get shoes/bags/clothing/hat collections. That shit isn't a passionate hobby as much as its vain consumerism imo

Nice. I mostly collect roman, celtic and rare barbarian coins. But I have plenty of items from bronze age and iron age (axe, knives, fibula, earrings, spears, arrows etc) and have plenty of stone age tools. Got some silver roman rings also and much more

My dads been collecting since he was in his teens, he’s 72 now , and a nerd who has cataloged and sleeved every comic he owns. He’s got about 100 or more of those white comic book storage boxes that are like 3’ long. It’s rediculous
