Khamzat's inactivity could be a plus because his "fighter age" is a lot younger than Whitaker, who has accumulated damage over the years. I want Robert to win but I think Khamzat's pressure will be too much.

Maybe. But I doubt anyone sees this playing out at all like the Aliskerov fight with Bobby getting an early KO. (Well maybe a few do, but not most of those picking Bobby by KO).

I think what most of us think is that Khamzat has a 2 round window to find a finish, maybe a bit more. Obviously this is based on how badly he faded in rd 3 vs Usman. Imagine him having to go 2 more rounds looking like he did? Lesser fighters than Bobby would've been teeing off on that version of Khamzat.

Maybe Chimaev has fixed some of his cardio issues, but I'd like to actually see it before I believe it. Maybe he fights more "measured", whatever that means. The thing is, he was gassed after 2 rounds vs Usman even though he was the one that controlled those rounds. That's not a good look. If you have a guys back and are forcing him to defend the whole time and you're the one who gasses...that ain't good.

I’m basing my Whittaker pick more on what we’ve seen out of Khamzat. This isn’t a LW moving up to WW, or a WW moving up to MW on short notice, and this isn’t a 3-round fight. Khamzat has passed the tests put in front of him so far, but we’ve seen big holes in his game the more he fights top guys.

He was injured after 1st round. This imaginary cardio issues has to go. Hope we see tonight to show its not the weakness people think. If you watch his extended grappling sessions you wouldn't think he is gonna gas. I mean his best wins are by decision.

I dont think I've messed up this month yet, (atleast in the polls that I've participated in)

This is one of the harder ones, but Safe is robert does what he does and point fights his way to victory as per usual after Khamzat blows his load in round 2, Struggles in round 2 (but still wins) leaving whittaker to cruise through rounds 3 4 and 5 for the UD. A late TKO could happen but I dont think Rob will press to hard for it.




Very difficult fight to predict. Whittaker has not faced someone like this. Khamzat has not faced someone like this. Khamzat has been out a while leaves a question mark, while we know every thing there is to know about Rob.

I love gambling for fun, but Im keeping my money out of this fight

I don’t disagree EXCEPT I anticipate judges to favor Khamzat unless it is a one sided beating.

Whittaker TKO, round 3/4 ... .

Khamzat will come out galloping and then end up napping facedown ass up in the later round
