Boxing Discussion VIII

If its a 6 rounder surely ref could be the judge? How do they decide if theres judges or the ref decides

Nice job Cr0w.
I had a bit on the Draw which seemed quite nice during the first few rounds, but then Mohammedi took the lead. Good pick!

size difference is ridiculous. probably flushing money down the toilet but i feel obliged to stab price.

I have a bit on Price dec and Price split dec on ridiculous odds as well... But just a tiny tiny stab, Povetkin will probably KO the shit out of him.

apparently povetkin hasn't been drug tested once in the lead up to this fight, uh oh lol.

Yeah I made a lot on Hammer finishing Price as dog and the TKO line, and Hammer is a 6ft 2 doughy limited heavyweight.

Price mentally collapses and struggles to take a shot, his best and likely only hope is a hail mary shot in round 1 or 2. Otherwise it's a matter of time before Povetkin lands a shot over Price's jab and sparks him.

Full list for tomorrow. Will probably add some crazy props later, before the fight.

the kiwi judge could make things interesting should the fight go to the cards.

i think some of the decision props were not properly set to account for this and ilke yourself a 12 round fight here would be gold. im playing both sides on decision as well as the joshu sd

you can still get some 65/1 draw at the exchange to hedge some of your decisions props should the fight get into the later rounds. parker +2800 dec along with rds 7-12 +1700 really made the parker ml have no value

I didn't even know about the kiwi judge. Wow.
Joshua SD @ 67 and MD @ 101 at bet365 were gold.

Adding a bit more on Joshua SD, Joshua MD, Parker SD, Parker MD.
I feel so much that this will go deep and possibly to the decision. They are both very light and both should have respect for the opponent.
God, both to be knocked down and to go to a split/majority dec would be gold. I'll cover a bit with the draw as well.

the ref is italian so could be impartial

youre in great shape should the fight get into the 11th round where you can theoretically start hedging.

those joshua dec props are bizarre...who often do you get 80/1 to 100/1 where you can make an argument of it actually hitting?

Just watched all the fights of both that I could find this morning and I agree with you.

Jones has a very active jab, jabs the body a lot too. He relies a lot on his head movement as opposed to a tight guard which could get him in trouble against a swarming pressure fighter or someone with big power but from what I've watched; Auimatagi isn't that guy.

Jones doesn't carry a lot of power but he does slowly break guys down with the accumulation. I think he definitely does slow down a little in rounds 4-6 but gets away with it due to his punch selection and movement. Favours the lead uppercut followed by straight right.

Auimatagi feet are pretty slow which makes me think he'll struggle to cut Jones off or land anything significant. Most of his punches are just looping shots, hooks and uppercuts to the body whilst moving forward. He doesn't seem to have concussive power or a very high output to make Jones struggle here, however he does have experience over 10 rounds which bodes in his favour but since this fight is only over 6 I don't think he'll get the chance to try and test Jones' gas tank.

Jones ML looks solid as dog, if we do get any more markets Jones DEC would be good too.

WOW!

Jones is winning every round, gets the KD in round 5 and then is winning round 6 easily and gets caught and the referee stops it for the Aumatagi win, crazy fight!
