Boxing Discussion VI

Bivol 1-4, under 5.5, Bivol round 3 and Bivol round 4.

degen bet on r4 +620 just becourse bivol finished his last 3 fights in that round :D

I thought second half was close cr0w and i was big on kab

Some ineffective forward pressure is all I was seeing from him and a few bursts but then eating some in return, knew the cards would be close though, Matchroom and all.

holy shit beautiful shot

good call Crow joined you on the under 5,5

Thought about round 1 @ 9.50 but didn't pull the trigger thought he'd wait a bit.

Was huge on under 5.5 and Bivol 1-4 too @ 2.50.

Just out of interest, how were the first two rounds scored in the McDonnell fight?

Deontay Wilder wins in round 1-6 (+137) vs Bermane Stiverne $100.00 for $137.00
Adrian Granados (+1000) vs Shawn Porter $50.00 for $500.00
Sergey Lipinets wins in round 7-12 (+125) vs Akihiro Kondo ~$105.00 for ~$131.25

rofl lmfao

they changed the granado porter fight to 12 rounds or was incorrectly listed as 10 rounds on boxrec today

Wilder gets it done in 1, 6 or under @ 1.83 got smashed!

Thta happens more often than I like, where they change the rounds from 10 to 12 last minute.

its twice for me this month

they changed the rojas/ortega fight from a sfw to a fw fight. found out at the weigh in and then my 130 guy proceeded to get ktfo by a career sbw

No new fights for the weekend in terms of lines...Maybe tomorrow, kinda sucks.
I guess we won't get that, but I really wanted Amanda Serrano by KO at decent odds or the under...

My list is :
3u Porter DEC @1.82
2.5u Chisora - Kabayel to go to dist @ 2.50

1u Chisora DEC @ 4.00
0.2u Bivol R4 @ 7
1.5u Lipinets-Kondo to finish in R7-12 @ 2.90

Solid weekend, +7.5u or so, also got some more on some lb freeroll on going to dec / not on Chisora - Kabayel.

Your av is giving me a boner. One of my favorite fighters of all time. Got to watch him fight Provo live, twas a sight to behold.

Also Wilder's right hand is like a cement block hitting you in the face. What a fucking 1-2 that dude has. Stiverne fat pos but still impressive ko.

I think Liam Williams is a good play against Liam Smith at close to even odds. He was winning the first fight pretty clearly before he got head butted and his corner stopped the fight.

imo, its not that easy. i dont think smith plays by the rules and might go headbutting and elbowing ala holyfield to re-open the double cut, which was wicked

Smith looked incredibly off that night, I was originally on Williams but switched to Smith on fight night and happily won but I think we see a much better Smith this time who doesn't start slow. Agree with Quincy regarding the cuts, they could easily open again and I wouldn't rule out Smith bending the rules again to help that happen.

Taylor DEC vs Vazquez @ 2.50 looks fantastic. For sure I think he wins especially in Edinburgh but anyone that's a big boxing fan knows how tricky Vazquez is, been in here with some top guys including Canelo and never been stopped.

Obviously he's a bit older now and Taylor looks to have the tools to become a world champion but that long awkward frame and experience could definitely cause some problems, not enough to win but he could very well see the distance. Currently I think the Taylor TKO lines and DEC should be the opposite way around.
