Weight etc was the only major concern I had when this was announced but since switching up his diet he looks fantastic and people within his camp and outside of it are saying he looks like a different animal.

Well against Spence Jr, people are asking if he can do the same? But if you are questioning that, give me three, top level fighters Errol Spence Jr has dealt with?

You can't. You get one - Chris Algieri - but the other two? No chance. Yes he looks slick, yes he is good, but would he get in with Golovkin? I doubt it.

This could be his coming out party but I'm not so sure, he's never had to battle adversity in a fight the same way Kell has, he's tough as hell. Slight worry about the condition of the eye, especially if Spence targets it early but not enough to make me bet on Spence. There are also a lot of slick southpaws in the Ingle's camp that Brook trains and spars with.

If Brook is in a great a shape as every says he is and has a good cut he has so much in his favour. Fighting at home, more experienced, faced much better opponents. If Golovkin couldn't put Kell down at MW I have a hard time seeing Spence put him down at WW. Obviously that kind of thinking doesn't always work but I really do find it hard to see.

As underdog I find it impossible not to play Brook.
 
All over Conlan round 2 vs Chanez this weekend.

Managed to make a lot on him round 2 on his debut although there was talk that a suspicious amount came in for him to win in round 2 last time.....

Chanez is stepping up in weight, poor quality and I think Conlan will perhaps look to get a round and a bit under his belt and finish the fight.

I'm chuffed getting +170. Gonna add a bit more too hoping more Murican money pours in on Spence.

Edit: +187 Marathonbet. Limit will be crappy but will take that if it holds by time I get home.

Noob question, do you get your stake back if there's a draw like you do with mma fights? If you do there's a nice arbing opportunity with that Kell Brook marathonbet price ^

Marathon Bet is three-way pricing with the draw so no.

They likely offer the main odds on the fight as 2 way odds and push on draws. But still offer draw bets as props. Many sites only offer boxing in 3 way odds (like with soccer), where the draw is priced into both sides odds to win.

In no way am I advising a juiced -200 play here. But I'm just pointing out that if this goes long it probably means Brook can't keep Spence off him. And if Spence is on him. He will be on him. And on him like crazy.

IMO GGG is surely a harder puncher with a better chin. Hell, he's bigger. BUT IMO Spence is actually a better fighter.

I might play Kell ML and Spence rds 7-12
 
Boxing on friday night ch5 for brits. Andrew selby and a cruiserweight fight. The dog looks interesting in the cw fight

I don't particularly see that. The odds suggest Brook is more likely to win a decision than stop Spence. He went long against Porter whilst largely keeping him off. We really don't know anything about Spence's ability to take damage or fight a long, hard fight so I don't see why you think it going long benefits Spence.

Hard fight to call overall but Brook at current odds is the clear value play.

Spence entire style is breaking guys down in grueling type fights. Re read what I wrote. I said IF KELL CANT KEEP HIM OFF. I didn't say he would.

Brook is a counterpuncher who moves backwards and clinches. It comes down to can Kell get his respect and keep him off him.

Of course the lines show that Kell is likelier to decision him. Spence has not been stopped and Kell is not a KO killer. But he does hit hard.

Let me ask u this. It this goes to the 6th and 7th rounds and Kell is not keeping Spence off him how do u see the 2 fighters looking?
 
Plain and simple. 1 guy is a come forward volume puncher who wears guys down with bodywork. The other is a hard hitting counterpuncher who gives ground and clinches. But is also rather slick. Comes down to who implements their style.

My point is we will see early if Spence can eat his counterpunches. If he can I give him the edge in the later rounds.

I just honestly am not sure what point you are trying to make. There's no reason why if the fight goes long, Brook can't win a decision. Yes, if Brook is struggling to hold Spence off with his jab and straight right, that means Spence will almost certainly win because Brook isn't an inside fighter. But if half-way through it's a pretty even fight, I would expect it to continue to be so.

I am using words like IF this happens and IF that happens yet u are acting as if I'm saying THIS WILL happen or THAT WILL happen. Maybe you are just not reading what I'm actually saying

IF IF IF Kell is struggling to keep Spence off him then that PROBABLY means Spence is having success with his bodywork. Bodywork USUALLY slows or even breaks a fighter. It also USUALLY brings them gloves down which opens up damage to that head which can result in Knockdowns or a KO.

So IF Kell is having trouble keeping a KNOWN volume body puncher off him then it PROBABLY stands to reason that the fighter taking the punishment MIGHT slow or even break
