Both Bisping and Anderson should call it a career

Bisping just got the fight of his life, beating Anderson in a tough, grueling fight. He should retire on top, I don't see him beating guys like Jacare, Romero, Rockhold or Weidman. Plus he's 36 and has some serious eye problems. Honestly his eyes are completely fucked.

Anderson is a former shell of himself. He can still pull out the same techniques but his chin is gone. Michael Bisping is not known for his knockout power at all and he hurt Anderson on multiple occasions. He was also unimpressive against Diaz, knocked down with a grazing punch in the second Weidman fight, and knocked out bad in the first. He also popped hot, and got his leg horrifically broken. Obviously watching Anderson is a fun fight every time, but I hope he doesn't go the Chuck Liddell route and start getting knocked out in every fight. He's 41 and there's no shame retiring at this point.

Both guys are legends and should retire after a great fight.

Wouldn't be mad if it happened, but they might give The Count a title shot.

Bisping still has a couple of years left in him. He will continue to fight at least until he loses again.

Silva... yes
Bisping... no. Mus go for de belch.

I liked watching them fight and neither were KO'd stiff so if they want to fight they might as well, ya they probably arnt going to be the champ but bisbing never was going to do that anyways.

I agree Bisping should consider going out on a high note. He's not getting the belt but he finally got that defining win he has always wanted. And he has logged some serious miles.

He could go out on a nice win streak too.. Not much left for the Count to do. Time to pass the torch imo unless he still just enjoys competing. He probably has made enough to retire and as far as accomplishing his goals I think he has done that. Did any reporter ask him about his plans?

It would be nice to see Bisping have a title shot after all these years, and especially after his accomplishment tonight.

I agree, they should.

But neither will, I'm 100% sure of it.

Fitting end for bisping. Winning a fight he was chasing for years and doing so in front of his home town crowd.

This. Bisping should retire on top. He has a story to tell his grandkids one day.

I'm a big bisping detractor and I think he's getting better. He should continue.

It's his Carl Froch "Wembley stadium in front of 80,000 fans" moment if you also follow UK boxing.

He really has nothing left to prove and he won't come close to besting Rockhold, Weidman or Jacare at this stage in his career imo. He would make it competitive but he has fought all over the world against the pioneers and legends of MMA, why not go out with his hand raised.

I get the feeling he's a stubborn bastard though so I won't hold my breath but I will watch if he continues.

How many fighters retire too late? This would be one of the best times for a fighter to retire ever.

I seriously thought silva was going to during the post fight interview. The way he was talking at first kind of felt like it.

Bisping has a tv career lined up. No need to keep fighting.

Bisping is 1 win away from tying GSP's record for most wins in the Octagon with 19.

I never ever thought I'd say this but he should fight one more which should get him a title shot if he wins and THAT should be his last one. Which imo still no way he wins

That was the best Michael Bisping we've seen. And for once he is so close to the belt. He might get the winner of Weidman vs Rockhold. 1 or 2 more fight before he retires imo.
