Agreed.

Khamzat needs to defend his 185 belt or vacate. Most of us with common sense said this would happen: Khamzat would win the belt and immediately go 8-12 months without defending his 185 pound title.

All the delusional Khamzat fans assured us that he would be active, blah blah blah. Well, here we are almost 6 months later, and no Khamzat fight in sight. And he is currently trying to duck the 185 pound contenders for an undeserved fight with Pereira at 205 pounds.

Biggest thing that baffles me is Dana White pushing this guy when he knows or should have known he won't defend yet he shit on guys like GSP. Pushes a guy like Toppy when he leaves FW into an unearned title shot and surpise he can't defend. But turns around and shits on a champion in Tom who played the companies game and defended an Interim title only to then get the run around on Unifying. Then gets blatantly eye gouged by a know dirty fighter and is shit on some more for not fighting blind.

It's just classic Dana White "he was never my friend" nonsense. The moment you are no longer useful to Dana White, he turns on you. He defended and glazed Jon Jones endlessly until he gave him an ultimatum to defend or vacate. Now he "can't trust Jon Jones".

And there's no guarantee it goes that way either. I dunno why people are thinking a career MMA welterweight and middleweight is gonna ragdoll a guy who is bulking up to HW and has fought at LHW most of his career.
I honestly don't know why people want this fight to happen. For as silly as it is, at least Alex vs Jones would be a fight between two similarly built combatants.

Yeah I would love to see Khamzat flatlined with Alex standing over him doing that same gesture he did to Hill and Magomed, but Alex only has a few fights left and it makes no sense for him to go backwards and fight MWs. He’s already conquered MW and LHW, that’s all in his rearview, I really wanna see him try to make history and go for a HW title, I think he has a really good shot.

Hopefully Tom is able to return as healthy as possible soon. I am unsure if Alex would want to fight for an interim belt if the UFC thinks Tom is taking too long, also we just had an interim belt situation at HW so I don't think the UFC wants to do that again.
 
Maybe Pereira should offer to fight Chimaev in a kickboxing-only match. Do you think KC would be so eager to fight him then?
