A U.S. Border Patrol agent jumped into the Rio Grande to save a drowning immigrant and returned him to Mexico.

According to the Border Patrol, one of the agents put on a life preserver and jumped into the Rio Grande. After struggling with the current, he reached the boy and carried him to the Mexican side of the river.

Here's a story everyone's going to have a reaction to, the comic potential is pretty high. Can you imagine if the guy was 100% American like Cain Velasquez and suddenly found himself getting CPR and abandoned in a country he's never been to and doesn't speak the language?

The comedic potential depends on where the immigrant was in the river. Like if he was 10 feet from land on the US side and the agent grabbed him and swam like 300 feet to the Mexico side to leave him.
