**Bobby Green vs. Jorge Masvidal @ UFC 178**

How awesome is it that Masvidal has had 5 fights in 15 months with the UFC, and is already booked for another? Man I love this guy.

Are we sure that Pettis hasn't been fighting? Just under his alter ego?
 
The shit talking will be epic. I got Green by SD/UD. Masvidal has good boxing but Bobby's is just as good, and probably has better movement and wrestling. Masividal's ground game is legit, but from the little of seen of Green's (ie. subbing Volkmann), I think he can hang.
 
Jorge is one of those guys. He is the opposite of a Cowboy or a Barboza type in that he never looks explosive or on fire. But that being said, he is incredibly consistent and really hard to look good against.

His 3 round fight with Khabilov is impressive given Rustams's success against Bendo for the first few rounds. Masvidal neutralized that wrestling.
 
Green via walking forward with lots of feints and head movement, hand games, and an occasional punch. DAT AGGRESSION.
 
Fight makes no sense. Typical ufc matchmaking. Should've made Diaz vs green and masvidal vs barboza.

Also ufc 178 is almost too good. They should be putting some of these fights onto other ppvs so they aren't like 177.
 
It's not that illogical. Masvidal is probably fringe top ten, and green will probably be ranked like 6th or something. Did he beat Johnson? I guess so, but was it an impressive win that will make him take a top 5 ranking? I don't think so.

masvidal is the same as thomson. he's very precise with his striking. green will probably be able to use his speed and showboating to sway the judges as masvidal lands the cleaner shots. masvidal does have improved grappling, but he won't be able to effectively utilize it against green.

good fight, but predictable in how it will play out. unless green comes out guns blazing and tries to throw combinations. green clearly was just trying to stay more busy against thomson and you can't knock him, it worked. he's a gifted fighter.

thomson wasn't as active, but i thought he was throwing and kicking with bad intentions on green. i wanted to see him grapple more, but that's how it goes.

I see the wrestling canceling out and I think green is slicker and throws more volume on the feet

Controls range better also

No way masvidal ko him and really only tgrows single shots wtc

Green will work combos
 
Green should be fighting in a Title eliminator or a top 5 opponent. Hoping Masvidal takes it though.
 
Don't want either guy to lose tbh but it was going to happen someday anyways i guess, I'll pick Masvidal via UD.

Masvidal is a legit Top 10, a lot of UFC fan boys dont really know.
