Bobby Green vs Dan Hooker?

Great fight and Hooker should avoid 145.
He's too big and will lose his power, just hope for the best at 155.
I think if he loses another fight he should maybe reconsider a change in weightclass or career since he already lost to 3 of the current top 5 fighters. I really don't think he'll ever be champ sadly.

Hooker is a UFC favorite by now. There's benefit to doing what he did. Sam Alvey for fuck sake has the UFC privilege so Hooker for sure has that shit. Even if he loses they will give him a toss up fight where he should win to give a reason to keep him (something they've done for ALvey a few times and he still lost.)

Are you new to the UFC? They really don't a give a fuck if you do them favors, being a "company guy" rarely gets you any leeway if you're losing, unless you have a ton of fans or something. There is no "good books", if you're winning you're prob safe, or if you have star power you're also prob safe.
If he loses his next fight, absolutely Hooker could get cut. losing 4 of your last 5, no matter the circumstances ... getting finished super quick in 2 of them ... Shelby and them don't care about the favors.

I'm not saying it's right, but he could definitely get cut if he fought Green and lost. IMHO.

Respectfully, Alvey fights in a notoriously shallow division. LW is super deep and there is no shortage of contenders or fighters to bring in.

Bobby looks like he deserves someone better than Jim Miller he’s long overdue for some contender fights to see if he can hang with the better half of the division. Vets and cans do nothing for this career at this point.

He's ranked #8 right now. A loss to Green might not even take him out of the Top 15. UFC let BJ Penn lose like 8 in a row I think Hooker is fine. He usually puts on good fights whether he wins or loses.
