he's always been a top 10-15 kind of guy. if you think that's not good, idk what to tell you. i think he's probably nearing the end of his career as his chin and reflexes have declined tremendously in the last year or two but he was pretty good once upon a time. should have gotten the nod over fiziev tbh

People have just worked out to throw more than a 1-2 at him. He gets caught on the end of combos after shoulder rolling/slipping the 1st 2 shots and getting caught in the 3,4,5th strike. Age is definitely a factor though.

Green is old now, but that's like saying Chandler, Tony, and BJ Penn were never good. His striking relies on reflexes, so he's been struggling later on, but still puts on a show.

He's a bit of a Masvidal type, as in had a boxing mentality that he could win rounds by not getting hit too much.
This costed him a bunch of decision that could have gone his way.
The Moises, Trinaldo and Klose fights were all at best coinflips and at worst robberies, the majority of media and fans scoring them for Green. This would turn a 4-3 stretch of his carreer into a 7 fights win streak.
Overall I think he's better than his record indicates.

But right now he's washed, his chin and reflexes are gone.

every generation has its fighters that will put it all on the line at the cost of everything. they dont get remembered often, but i do appreciate their efforts. the dogs that hung in there, gave it there all every fight types. like a chris lytle, sam hands of stone stout type, but just slightly worse. i appreciate bobby green. the dude goes for it at the cost of everything.
