Bo Nickal is absolutely terrible

Do you know what fight you're talking about? Think you're confusing it with the Arman fight.
Breh, he didn't dominate that fight. Just stop.

He dominated and finished the tunacan in the 2nd round but he also got tossed onto his head going for a takedown in the 1st round and landed like 4 strikes.

No, you're definitely confused because he got tossed on his head at the beginning of the 2nd round.

Nickal dominated the first round. He had 3 minutes of mount/back control. You're only downplaying it because of his hype.

He wasn't dominant until he got Cody down in round 2. Round 1 was a nothingburger

Undefeated and finishing people in the premier MMA organisation.
Sherdog analysis: "absolutely terrible".

On these forums you're either a GOAT or a can.
Seems to be no inbetween.

Yea the meaning of my post was misunderstood. I meant like "That was so dumb Kayla Harrison vs holm could have been there instead," but pretty much all of them should have been there over Bo. I feel like that one was the least deserving but Even that one should have been there over Bo

Even Andrade vs Rodriguez. At least that had a former champ.

And all those other fights were exciting at least lol.

3 minutes of mount and back control is a nothingburger? lol.
Over a can you're like -2000 over and you landed like 3 strikes and no real sub threats?

Khamzat got meh 10-9 on here for doing more to Kamaru Usman in the 1st.... lol

Khamzat got shit on for doing more to Kamaru Usman.... lol
It's positional domination. It was not a close fight at all, it was a blowout. The fact you're bringing up odds and calling him a can is exactly what I just said about you. You're downplaying the fight because of his hype.

And Khamzat dominated Usman in round one, no one says otherwise. He gets shit for how the other two rounds went.

He’s a poor mans Khamzat.

khamzat is SEVERAL tiers above him.
Based on what?

Who has he beat at 185?

His best victory was probably a past prime Usman who was not even fighting in his normal weight class….

He didn’t look amazing against Burns, who is not even big for 170.

I honestly think it would be a pretty close fight.

I would give Khamzat a slight edge standing but I give Bo the edge on the wrestling.

They will fight, it’s not a matter of if but when.

To everyone saying he's only got 6 pro fights, its being force fed a narrative that he is world beater that grates; especially when he's being handed cherry picked opponents with poor records.

If he's 6-0 and green, why is he on the main card of the biggest PPV in years?

He's had his tune up fights. Its time he was booked based on his reputation and see how good he really is

Because they clearly have faith in him and are hungry for a new star. None of these things should be held against him. It's not bad to take opportunities you may not deserve if they are offered to you. It would be stupid not to.

Somehow someway Bo negotiated in his contract that his fights will be on the Main Cards. I didn't really know that was possible but props to him for getting that done. That's hilarious.

I don't mind the way they're "managing" his career, given how many fights he's had... but, how the hell does this guy get higher billing than Jiri, Sterling, etc? Hell even Kayla and Holly prob deserved to be higher on the card than him.

He seems athletic enough and good enough at wrestling to get "good." But it isn't at all clear how good his striking is or how his wrasslin will hold up against someone with TDD or grappling.

It isn't like he's super young, the guy is already 28. At the same age Weidman was already champ and well rounded.

When is Nickel going to be good and fight legit competition? When he's 32?

I could see him being as good as Romero if everything goes right or a Mark Madsen, two other wrestlers that started MMA "late."

This is why I think it's retarded for the UFC to try to pick winners and push them so early in their careers. Let the cream rise, then promote them. If they are legit they'll get there. If they aren't then you didn't waste main cards on guys that go nowhere.

Same for Sage, Rojas Jr. etc.
