Bo gave me Lesnar vibes during his RDR fight. It's obvious he's uncomfortable getting hit. When he got stung with those knees, which admittedly suck to get hit in the gut, the grimace on his face told me all I needed to know: Bo isn't built for this. I don't hate him but the UFC did him a grave disservice giving Bo these questionable slots on high-profile PPVs. You can't put squash matches on PPVs. When you see opposition like Jaime Pickett and Val Woodburn on these PPV main cards you knew this was going to fail.

Bo needs to fight more on apex cards. He can't be fighting once/twice a year so early into his career. I expect Pimblett to have a similar exposure once he gets that real test.

I don't think the problem is putting Bo on PPVs. The UFC did that because it's a business and there's already huge fan interest in seeing Bo fight, hence all the threads about him after his first loss. He fought Val Woodburn and Jaimie Pickett because that was appropriate matchmaking for that stage of his career. Like 4 or 5 fights into his career. And Woodburn IIRC was a late replacement for somebody else.

No one likes to get hit. However you can clearly see Bo's has a lower tolerance to it than other fighters. If that was Strickland or DDP on the receiving end of those knees they would still be trying to fight on
