Yeah he proved it's not hyped anymore and only hardcore fans are calling for it, his viewership dipped from 150k when he started to 50k and he rarely ends up below 80k
 
At least you can run it at 60 FPS and 1080p on a hacked PS5. Better than nothing, I guess.

I'm holding out for PS4 emulation, personally. I don't want a remaster unless FromSoft were to do it, and Miyazaki already said they have no interest in remasters/remakes and they just want to keep making new games. Sony could give it to BluePoint, but they suck and ruin everything they touch, so I would prefer if they didn't bother with mangling Bloodborne. For now, I can still play it on the PS5 and I will always own a PlayStation and a PC, so it makes no difference to me until the PS4/PS5 that I own give out on me.

Idk who the Kai guy is, but I doubt a streamer would have any more pull than the thousands of fans clamoring for it for nearly the last decade. My guess is Sony will announce it as a PC port or a remake on its 10 year anniversary at best, and at worst just put up a tweet and maybe put it on sale. Either way, PS4 emulation is making headway and this is basically the only PS4 game most of those guys care to play, so ideally it could be playable on PC in a couple of years

Yeah, BluePoint really fucked up the tone of Demon's Souls. I hope it comes to PC so modders can correct their botches.

BB is a bit easier to remaster though, as it doesn't require a major upgrade, just 60 FPS (or higher) and a resolution bump. I'm sure Sony will want it running in 4k though, so if BluePoint is doing it I expect them to redo a bunch of textures/character models and shit all over them.

@My Spot For the PS5 60 FPS/1080p hack, can it still be played online?

I never thought Demon's Souls looked nice to begin with. The PS3 did it no favors so imo from what I have seen, BluePoint was a big upgrade.
 
I wasn't a fan of Bluepoint not changing a single thing about the gameplay in DeS. They could have smoothed out the movement a bit.

I've also been in the high-regard camp for B/p so first I'm hearing of their 'ruining' anything. Enjoyed DeS redux immensely and think it still one of the best-looking games on the 5.
