BLM protestors struck by car during freeway protest in Seattle

Since some of what I previously alluded is now being confirmed I’ll share that the suspect is reportedly a member of the Ethiopian Seattle community named Dalit Kalete. He was apparently a wanted man having evaded police in a separate incident two weeks ago.

I’ll take this opportunity to point out to our left wing posters that you all really need to check your impulses. Not everything is racist. Sometimes bad shit happens for all sorts of reasons.

If you drive into a gore point (or emergency lane) here at speed and hit someone (or a vehicle), short of mechanical failure you're definitely facing a raft of charges.

This happened Early this morning around 1:30am. I’m the video it looks like the protesters ran in front of the moving vehicle but it’s hard to tell because of how quickly it happens. Should the driver be held responsible if they intentionally put their selves in harms way?

I don't know how you got the idea that they intentionally ran in front of that car. Even though the car was speeding and it all happened so quickly. Do you want it to be true?

You alleged that he was deliberately running down black lives matter protesters. If you want to wiggle around trying to claim that wasn’t an implication of racism then go ahead.

That's not a proper closer. Their is no cones or lights indicating that the freeway is close. It's just a bunch of a cars Park sideways. You always have cones leading slowly into the off ramp.
I call bullshit. Those cars don't even have lights in the night time which is required if they are blocking lanes.

At those speeds cars with no light will come up on you quickly. That's why he swerves out and back into the lanes. If he wanted to hit the protesters he would have gone straight and hit 3 people instead of 2.

I never once made any mention of what the protesters were protesting, dude. I'm condemning the actions of the driver, and never once made an appeal to race or the purpose of the protests.

I'd have the same response if it was a black driver driving through white protesters. None of that shit matters to me.

You didn’t need to mention what they were protesting. It’s in the thread title. Just man up, learn the lesson and try to keep your head about you next time.
