Saying this as someone who's lived in India for months at a time.

Nah, these riots are such a drop in the bucket compared to the ocean needed to make it "over" for the US.

It is potentially over for many cities, though, in that growth and investment will slow. Then again, the idea of the city was always going to be obsolete eventually. Online schools, remote work, and more automation were inevitable. COVID just sped things up around 15 years or so.

So, Proud Boys set up a rally and decide to not show up and sit back and watch Antifa's reaction.
Antifa shows up, no proud boys, decides to start blocking traffic, attacking media and people's vehicles. Even went as far as to attack their own supporters.
They attack a vehicle they think has someone they dislike in the vehicle, smash the window and see a scared dog inside. Someone says hey back off and then they start cussing and screaming at the dog and continue destroying the car.

They are mentally ill and have been given the green light by politicans to be violent. It's a dangerous mix.

It's been a third world country. Unemployment ridiculously high, education terrible, overcrowded schools, foreclosure crisis coming up, riots, corrupt politician, record high usage of social welfare programs........
