I've fancasted Mahershala as Blade in a potential reboot years ago.

Perfect casting for the Daywalker. Good job Feige (as usual).

Should have been Wesley Snipes in a brutal Netflix series.

Had a treatment idea for how to bring him(and other mystic characters) into the MCU.

They should set this in New Orleans and have him team up with Brother VooDoo.

As far as acting goes, you couldn't have gotten a more accomplished actor than Ali. He was my top choice to play Killmonger in Black Panther. He was fantastic as Cottonmouth in Luke Cage

But man, hard to picture anyone else playing Blade other than Snipes. He was damn near perfect for the role even though Michael Jai White may have done just as good.

Either way, I'm excited to see what can come of this. Ali gotta work on those martial art skills. And I pray to the heavens that the movie will be Rated R but knowing Marvel/Disney...

I remember you telling me about this. One of the best ideas I've ever read on this site. Voodoo was one of my favorite characters.

Idk how you could have watched True Detective and not think he's better than Evans, Scarlet, etc.
