No, no jimmies were russled in Civil War.

I agree he had a good showing, but will that transfer into his own movie? Doubtful.

Basically, Spider-man and black Spider-man without webbing made their debut in Civil War.

You really don't think the Panther movie will be good? Boseman jus oozed the dignity and intellectual superiority T'Challa has (bordering on arrogance) and the type of movie will not be the same as anyone before in the MCU. Its got a talented cast, a director who appears too be a true fan of the source material and a new feel.

Whether you like the character in particular or not, there's little doubt this movie will be interesting (and likely a financial success, its an MCU movie after all).

Everyone talks about how great this guy did in Creed but I frankly wasn't that impressed. Maybe I was too focused on it but when he was talking shit in the ring mid fight it sounded super forced and fake as fuck.

Watch Friday Night Lights or, for a film, Fruitvale Station. He's legit.

We need to start a doubtful or not doubtful poll. I'm itching to cast a vote for the not doubtful category.

Looks great, love the cast! Why is b Jordan on it? No more fantastic four for the next few years?

I'm sure this movie is gonna be great. Boseman killed it in Civil War. But I just can't stand Michael B. Jordan. I haven't seen Creed yet, but everything else I've seen of him I've hated. Not the movies, just his performances.

Would much rather see:

Couldn't care less.

Black Panther is like what would happen if Al Shapton complained to Marvel that there were no black superheroes.

So, Marvel responds by making the blackest super hero possible.

He's black.
He's called Black Panther.
His costume is completely black.
He's from an African country.

Black Panthers are actually less black than he is.

It's like they ran out of ideas as to how to make him more black.

LOLz black lives matter too.

First Story Details for Marvel's BLACK PANTHER Revealed

Black-Panther-072516-Dragonlord.jpg

While on stage in Comic-Con’s Hall H, Black Pather director Ryan Coogler didn’t say much about his Marvel film, mainly because he’s still working on the script and there’s still a ways before production commences. That said, newly cast Lupita Nyong’o did reveal the first plot details to Marvel during the red carpet press rounds following the panel.

From the Marvel Studios presentations, we know that Danai Gurira (The Walking Dead) and Nyong’o (12 Years a Slave) play Okoye and Nakia, members of Wakanda’s elite special forces unite called the Dora Milaje. Nyong’o further revealed during an interview with a Marvel.com correspondent:

"The story of this Black Panther is- what am I allowed to say? – The story is that the Black Panther’s leadership is really threatened by two foes who come together, and so Black Panther gets the help of the C.I.A. and the Dora Milaje to try and defeat the enemy."

Michael B. Jordan was revealed to be one of these foes playing Erik Killmonger. Might the other one by Ulysses Klaw? We already saw Andy Serkis bring this vibranium-hunting comic villain to life in Avengers: Age of Ultron, and he walked away with at least one of his arms in tact. Given the character’s ties to Black Panther, the film seems like a logical place for him to appear next, if at all.

The C.I.A. team-up meanwhile is surprising, but explains Everett Ross' (played by Martin Freeman) role. Black Panther hits theaters July 6, 2018.

its the best storyline to start with -- Killmonger arc really takes place in wakanda -- the battle for control and such.

just wish marvel didnt screw up Mandarin already.

not sure about this one. don't know anything about the character.

super easy -- family was excommunicated, he grows up in the states, is highly educated and trained, comes back to wakanda with hat in hand but really wants to take over.

Don't know how much of a threat Klaw could be to Black Panther, no special powers or abilities. We'll see how powerful his claw is. Michael B. Jordan's character might be the one who is the real threat. The body guard to the Black Panther, those black women that confronted Black Widow in Civil War, I want to see them throw down.

Fruitvale Station, Chronicle, The Wire, Friday Night Lights.

That Awkward Moment was pretty terrible but I thought Jordan and Miles Teller did a lot considering how little they had to work with.

2018 man. Holy buckets that's a long way off.
Well considering how this election seems to be going we'll be lucky if we make it that far
