Multiplat Black Ops 6

I love COD but to me the games are mostly the same since XBOX360. I haven't played every single one but the ones I played have the same levels, upgrades, guns, everything.

I'm still on Cold War Black Ops and see no reason to buy the newest ones. I have no problems finding matches on this older COD

And I just play the base game. I never bought any packs, guns, or skins.
 
Been playing it since BO6 came out recently. So far I'm not sure what to think. Seems like weapon progression is a lot slower than MW3, seems like it takes forever to get new attachments by comparison. Maybe it's just me though. Maps are pretty meh. There's not really any map yet that I love like in other COD titles. We will see though. I only played the campaign for a little while so far but seems good.

No, you are right. Gun progression is slower, and maybe even progression in general. It is taking longer for sure.

Nope. At least not in death match. Honestly, I think I'm done already. The maps are just not good, and it doesn't have any staying power without at least a solid map or two.

Thankfully , it was on gamepass, and it didn't cost anything extra to try it.

I'm about to finish the campaign and it's pretty good other than a couple of WTF missions and some minor complaints like a certain bug that had me restarting a 2-hour mission...
Tried the multi but it's so fucking sweaty. MW3 was sweaty already but this one is just too much for me.

Can you bring over any earned or purchased skins/weapons from MW2 or 3?
 
Keeps crashing. Im also stuck on the mission where you have to get the four keycards. I got the first three but the blue one i cant get the enemy to spawn. Not sure if its a glitch ot what but he begins to spawn for a second then doesn't. Ive been here for hours. It's also the shittiest mission in COD history

Now that I have more matches:

#1- Time to Death is maybe a little slower than MW3
#2-The maps have grown on me, but if you're a sniper it's not great. Nuketown is out, which is cool for nostalgia.
#3- Flash bangs are too strong.
#4- The multi-directional diving/sprinting doesn't seem to get used much.
#5- Campaign is good.
#6- I don't understand how to play Zombies or maybe just don't like it. Not new to this version of COD.
#7- 2x XP is making the game more fun, but will go away after today and back to really painful grind for attachments and Prestiging.

Like the Kill Order games.
 
Finished the campaign. Not bad.
 
That new map stakeout is absolute carnage, doing some grinding with the shotgun on it.

Was this in an older game? I've never seen it before.
 
Just came in to say fuck this game and every call of duty going forward. Instead of being able to download games I already paid for, I have to install the gigantic waste of space CoD launcher where they desperately try to funnel you into BO6 on the front page, hiding what you actually want to play. And then I'm not sure what installed but it wasn't the games I wanted to play. You have to download them separately once the launcher is installed. I've never seen such retarded bullshit in my life.

I guess it's working but the idea that COD has any lore that justifies a game hub is hilarious to me. Game Pass on PC has the worst experience for the game hub. Xbox to COD, where you can do warzone, zombies and multiplayer. But campaign is a separate game for some reason after that.
