Searched, can't find a thread.

COD is finally back with Treyarch, the only good developer. The beta is this weekend through the 4th.

Didn't like it at first. But it has really grown on me. Thankful it's less like the mw games and the mw wannabe bo: cw.

I wish they had gone back to the pick 11 or whatever system. And ive never been very good with the crazy movement. Enjoying it so far though.

Very excited to play cod again. Black ops 4 was the last good one imho.
 
Played a few matches. It feels good, but it’s basically the same game, once again.
 
On the fence here, i think ill just stick to warzone
 
My brother said it's legit... More like BO and BO2 than the last few games... Small maps , lots of kills.
 
Still going to play it since it's free. Never look a gift horse in the mouth.
 
Have they fixed the hit detection? I played BO3 and 4, and I think WWII, and the hit detection was so shit it was infuriating. Sometimes it would work perfect, sometimes it wouldn't detect at all. And it ALWAYS seemed to take me 3 hits to kill someone, while I was always getting killed in 1. (I can't imagine every single one shot kill on me was a headshot. It seemed like a lot of times I'd get hit in the body once and go down.

I always play on Hardcore. I hate Core.
 
I also wish CoD would do an "Unlimited" Mode, where there are no areas within the map that are off limits. Like how they have it now, there are certain things you can't jump over or onto because of an invisible wall. Get rid of that. Let all spaces within the map be accessable. Rooftops, high up rafter beams, etc. If you can see it, you can do it (within the map). - And I mean do this with all of the standard maps. Not just that one gigantic map.

It would also be cool if in this unlimited mode they let you have all perks at the same time. Instead of being limited to three or whatever, you can have ALL of the options at once. Let people go crazy with it.

Those who don't want to play in this mode don't have to. Just stick to Core or Hardcore. It blows my mind they haven't done this already.

Thats referred to as "packet burst". Previous COD titles used dynamic tickrates that never exceeded 45hz. So damaging actions including the kill shot could get clumped into one packet(tick).

Believe with MW3 they transitioned to static 45hz tickrate. You'll still see it just less so.

Also you can now sprint left , right, and backward and dive all directions.

Maps seem small though.

What COD are you comparing TTK to? For me, it feels a little quicker than Cold War but slower than the recent MWs.
 
That gas station (rundown?) level sucks, but I’m not hating it so far. It’s still very very similar, and not breaking any new ground, but it’s not horrible.

Time to kill feels fine imo. People are dying when I shoot them without issue.

I skipped the last one as well. I have not liked-at all- the last I think 4 games. Warzone is fun but blackout was better.
 
I haven't played COD since the one with the Clean House mission and i pretty much played the campaign and barely touched the multiplayer. MW2019 I think? Anyway, the campaign seems like your standard COD over the top action stuff which I'm actually enjoying.

What's surprising me is how well i'm doing in multiplayer. Finishing in the top two or three pretty regularly. I'm guessing it's because there are more actual "noobs" this year because it's on Gamepass.

Anyway i've been pleasantly surprised with it. I thought my Call of Duty days were long behind me.

Same here.

I always have a positive kdr, but nothing to write home about. This one though, I been going 2.0 or better, which was is master level compared to my standard kdr in everything besides titan fall 2

Something works for me in this one.
