It's bonkers if this was actually a result of an improper mouthpiece. Sure it's his first bareknuckle fight, but he's been in combat for like 15 years or more. He should be at least somewhat aware of what protective equipment he needs. Plus, isn't there a ref or some other AC official there to check you before you get in the ring? The whole vaseline, cup, gloves, mouth piece thing?

I think Perry is very happy where he is. It suits him well, and i am sure he is getting paid far more than in UFC, plus ....he doesn't nedd to trainm BJJ anymore or wrestling or grappling etc.

he can concentrate on boxing, and make big money, I don't see why he'd even consider leaving.

He will be offered a new contract and no doubt quite a big pay rise.
BKFC boss Feldman probably still has a chubby from the unexpected McGregor-in-the-ring after the main event. Could not have gone better for BKFC last night.

Totally I agree but I wonder if the UFC will make a play for him. I doubt Perry leaves BKFC though. They will offer him a lot of cash to stick around. But the UFC is the promotion that would be able to actually set up Perry vs Conor and if they throw that guaranteed fight into the mix, it might become a tough decision for Mike.

Not really. I've done enough in sessions to intoxicate a small village... it doesn't make me angry, ever. Booze can and has though. But yeah certain drugs don't work well with people - booze makes everybody angrier but coke doesn't generally make people angry... other than me I've been around endless coke heads too... chatty, euphoric, rambly, all that but not angry... Conor has issues for sure...

Like that recent chick who *alleges* he attacked her and said it's like he was 'possessed'... I believe her. The way Conor does that creepy miffed fake smile after saying 'it was rangy' and then is like looking Perry up and down rapidly whilst flinching his mouth until Perry breaks his psycho trajectory by being nice lol... If Perry had talked shit in that moment, I seriously believe McGregor would have attacked him...

I've done a lot of drugs and have my share of mental issues too... You can see it so bad in this guy + then the obvious accusations of random attacks etc. If he doesn't end up in a cage, and I mean jail someday... I'd be amazed.

Luckily it's a very fixable injury if you have the money. He must have made a lot of money during his career and advertisment, right? I don't know if he took this fight out of financial desperation or if he's just a crazy sob who wants to fight even when he doesn't need to. I hope it's the latter because then this injury is not such a big deal.

yeah i think Mike is very happy where he is, and he likes boxing and he IS a tough dude and he has a chin made out of granite. Rockhold caught him with a big shot in Rd.1 and it pushed him backwards and he just carried on as if it hadn't happened.

I think Perry values loyalty and he appreciates BKFC and they'll make him an offer he won't refuse to keep him at BKFC. The McG thing never happening unless Conor quits the UFC and BKFC couldn't afford to pay McG millions.

so....Perry stays at BKFC on a nice fat juicy new contract, is my honest expectation.

yup I agree with everything you say except I think BKFC would sign Conor for millions in a heartbeat if they could. I think Conor has proven his profitability.

Also, as a UFC fan, it’s kind of crazy to me that BKFC actually let Perry fight out his contract without controversy. I’m sure they know he’s not leaving their promotion. Compare that to the UFC and Nate fighting out his contract.

The Perry vs Till fight in BKFC is way to appealing for them to pass up. Perry has overcome his past two fights where not many people thought he was going to win. The guy is made for this sport. which in my opinion would be the main incentive for the UFC to make a play for Perry. Just go ahead and pay Perry an obnoxious amount of money to re-sign with the UFC and watch BKFC sink or pay an even more obnoxious amount to buy out BKFC later. Also if the UFC were to re-sign Perry now they would have a guaranteed way to earn their money back by setting up the perry vs Conor mega fight.

But as I said, I’m sure Perry stays with BKFC. It’s definitely his niche. I’m kind of playing devils advocate in this thread a bit.
