I think so. its another game in Gi man. so much harder . share knowledge please
One is applicable in any fight or grappling situation (no gi) one is not.
We argue half the time... and you're absolutely right about thisYES! someone had to do this, gi vs no gi! its been a while...
this thread will start with some calling out ts for starting another gi vs no gi, then guys will go practice both, some 50 more will say the same, untill eventually someone will go, no gi is better because people dont weak gis on da street, 593849 guys will come out and say, , well people dont walk buttnaked where I live, so gi is better, and kaaabooon, 2304840938 pages of war, history repeats it self...
PS: no gi is better because people dont wear gis on da street
Then it will devolve into a Self Defense vs sport BJJ threadYES! someone had to do this, gi vs no gi! its been a while...

For guys that mostly train gi, NOGI is hard- getting your opponant down all leglocks & heelhooks can be used.
You often see higher belted gi guys get leglocked in nogi comp.
For guys that mostly train nogi, the GI is hard - gi guys are tricky and the gi has much more ways in which you can get grabbed pushed pulled choked.
So you see nogi guys not performing as well in the gi in comp.
