Dude needs a break. He's talented, but it didn't help him avoid taking a ton of damage. He needs more time than he'll get before the Gracie fight. But at least he shouldn't take a bunch of damage in that one.

Fight after Lawler exploded his nose, he wanted nothing to do with getting hit. That fight seemed to take a lot out of his sails. Maybe it's just time.
