History Bizarre Cases of the missing and murdered

Stories like this make me incredibly sad.

I know the police usually have a good reason for doing what they do but why wait 45 years to release the audio? They could have done it a lot sooner while that voice was still fresh in the mind's of the people that knew him.

Even if it was a hoax, the person doing the hoaxing needs to do time behind bars. It's sickening that people will call up and torment families that have lost their loves ones for their own sick pleasure, or worse, attempt to extort them for money.

I was reading about Tammy Lynn Leppert yesterday and the scarface scene .Also reading about all the bodies found in the Houston bayou since 2017 .I travelled to Houston in 2022 . Is there a serial killer on the loose ?

Glasgow barrowlands .Bible John was an unidentified serial killer who used to lure his victims with quotes from the bible mostly all young burnette women in the 1960s .That was his nickname but they never caught him .

For the posters that dont know the barrowlands its a market in Glasgow nicknamed the barras .Its near Celtic park and got a good few Celtic pubs that play alot of Irish rebel music .Famous for Bairds bar and the hoops bar 2 pubs i've drank in before the games .

Not sure if this has been posted but I had never heard this one.

Tldw:

-A leg was found in the rubble of the Oklahoma City bombing.

-It was identified who it belonged to, but when they opened the casket there were already two legs. One of them did not belong to the victim.

-This gives them an extra leg that does not match any of the DNA from the known victims.

The authorities who found the appendenge are said to have a leg up on the competition when it comes to finding the victim.

And when looking for someone who knows where the other body parts are, they have to assume that person is armed.

Here’s an old Jane doe case where they just recently discovered her identity; the case was featured on unsolved mysteries back in the day:

The famous, "Redford Nods Approvingly" Gif is taken from the film Jeramiah Johnson in which he portrays the titular character. The film was a critical and financial success, getting positive reviews and earning $44 Million against a budget of just over $3 Million. Which made it the 5th highest grossing film of 1972.

I believe they left out the cannibalism, though. ;)

Man Dresses as Dead Mom to Collect Her Pension… the unemployed 56 year old wore make up, altered his hair and put on dresses to get his mom’s pension payments who died in 2022… He got caught when he went to renew his mom’s ID and the clerk had “Reasonable Doubtfire” that it was actually the man’s mom. Investigators went to his house and found the mom mummified and hidden in the pantry closet.
