History Bizarre Cases of the missing and murdered

The uber secret chapter was found and released in 1987 as "The Secret Of Hanging Rock".

It basically reveals its a portal to another dimension and that's where the girls are.

https://lithub.com/what-really-happened-to-the-girls-at-hanging-rock/

I was interested in it cause I've never heard of the real mystery despite being mystery, ufo, whatever obsessed but the story didn't happen. It's suggested it did and told as such, and borrows from things and places there but that's all
That '87 story has long been considered fake by many experts and subsequent investigation. Someone has long been trying to detour evidence and that '87 fake was put there to be found. I personally know a few Aboriginal trackers who are descendants of the trackers who had helped look for the missing girls and they showed me a rugged piece of a map that was part of the missing chapter.....the local Aboriginals know the truth and they talked about a "monster" or "dimension portal" leading to parallel worlds. There are weirder things under the sun than can ever be imagined.

The Bermuda triangle had no more disappearances than any other area of the ocean.

I don't even know what to tell you about the da Vinci code cause I never believed it was real in the first place and stems from ideas from another work from the 80s or so.

I want High strangeness and weirdness too, but I just don't want it to be bullshit is all
No I mean, have you ever tried to read the book by Berlitz ???! ......and all the subsequent books on the Triangle ? No other ocean has ships and boats found with no-one on board and tables completely left as they were and lit cigs in ashtrays and other strange things like things floating in thin air inside abandoned ships:). Actually, there is a part of an ocean in Japan with similar events, but that's it.

Not a mystery, but like the Furuta case, just mindless and nasty.

Didn't get much play in the media because of the Bulger killing that happened around the same time.

Some of these nasty fucks are out.

Yeah, I read up on this one years ago. Absolutely tragic what happened to her. Tied up, teeth removed, set on fire? Pure fucking evil those cunts that did this.

I'm shocked there has never been a documentary on the murder, and as you said, hardly any media coverage.

The parents .....

Without a fucking doubt

No doubt in my mind. However, I think it was an accidental death and they just disposed of the body and covered it up - basically I think they either under or overdosed her on sleeping pills.

Yep that's what I think is the likely reason. Either way, they are responsible, even if it did turn out someone coincidentally broke into their apartment because they knew there was a lone toddler in there (yeah right), I mean what kind of a scumbag leaves their kids alone so they can go and socialise, while in a foreign country?
Gerry then called in his mate Tony Blair who got his PR team on the case and stopped the press asking obvious questions, followed by a smear campaign on the Portuguese chief investigator who dared to criticise and aim attention at those scumbag parents.
Maddie's blood being found in the back of their hire car and the smell of death was also ignored and they managed to walk free, write a book, and ended up richer from it all.

Fucking unreal how they manipulate the public to believe what they want them to.

Hanging Rock incident. My guess is They were killed by the Aboriginals. Some complicated incident might have led to this. Maybe a stray hunting arrow hit one of the girls. The rest were killed to keep them quiet.

Yes, anything could have happened, but I doubt this theory....NO TRACE of the bodies was ever found .....actually, no trace of anything was ever found....no footprints, handprints......NOTHING.

Teenager kills a girl. His family put up his bond. He repaid his parents for this by murdering his brother and raping his sister.

https://www.latimes.com/archives/la-xpm-1995-05-28-mn-6956-story.htmlCRETE, Ill. —

On St. Patrick’s Day, Roger and Gayle Pfiel relaxed at a party--a respite from their waking nightmare, the murder accusation against their younger son that had hung over their family for more than a year.

They returned home to find a cataclysm.

Six squad cars and two ambulances lined the pothole-scarred rural road that separated their large and isolated Tudor home from a fallow cornfield.

Inside, their older son lay dead, beaten with a baseball bat, his throat slashed with a meat cleaver. A young family member, the one whose hysterical telephone call had summoned help, had been raped.

For a family that already had too much grief to bear, there was one more terrible blow in store.

Police told them it was not an intruder who was responsible for the violence, but Steven--the baby-faced, 18-year-old son who had been charged with killing a young girl 20 months earlier.

This was the son for whom they posted a $100,000 bond and moved the family to a rural home when the taunts and glares of neighbors became too much. He was the son who, days later, penned a note to his parents from a jail cell.

“Mom and Dad,” Steven Pfiel wrote, “now I’ve killed two people.”

This is shaping up to be a bizarre, headscratcher of a case of a missing man.

A Texas father of two vanished after leaving for an early morning walk last week — and relatives say one troubling detail alerted his frantic wife that something was amiss.

Colby Richards, 31, was last seen at his home on Musgrave Place in The Woodlands on the morning of May 26, FOX 26 Houston reported.

Richards, an engineer and part-time baseball coach, typically got up for work around 5 or 6 a.m., his wife, Callie, told the outlet.

Last Friday, however, Callie woke up to her husband gone and the family’s gate wide open, which prompted her to call the police.

“She was waiting to come back to bed and he didn’t,” the family’s spokesperson, Richards’ cousin Allison Fox, told the Courier.

“[Callie] noticed it was getting light out and she went downstairs to check on him and he wasn’t downstairs. He sometimes goes into the backyard and he wasn’t there but she noticed the gate was open.”

Richard frequently went on walks without his phone, but Fox explained to the US Sun that Friday’s pre-work stroll seemed different.

“I would say that it’s atypical for him to leave and not say, ‘Hey, I’m gonna go for a walk,'” she said.

“Especially given that he was supposed to go to work that morning.”

Authorities walking the trail behind the family’s home eventually found a water bottle identified as Richards’, but have no other evidence to indicate his whereabouts.

Callie Richards is “just as surprised” as the rest of the family by her husband’s sudden vanishing, Fox told the outlet.

“He just kind of walked out and didn’t say anything,” she said.

On Tuesday, the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office continued to spearhead the ongoing search.

Local volunteers were also out in droves on foot, bicycles, ATVs, and even horseback, the Courier said.

Callie Richards told FOX 26 over the weekend that she is struggling to explain her husband’s absence to their 3-year-old daughter and 1-year-old son.

Sounds like he just walked out, I’m not getting murder vibes from this.

Same, but who knows?

Why would he not be seen for a week, and leave his wife and two young children?

He just jumped on a yacht and said fuck it, I'm going to Spain?

This is insane. I can only imagine what that child's biological parents went through for the 4 years she was gone. Wow.
I had to reread it a few times. It was her biological mom and stepdad who kidnapped her, the cops gave her back to her father.

Who knows. Not the most likely outcome I agree. There’s always context we don’t see, like if he has enemies, debts, bad marriage etc etc

How did these psychopaths even find each other? Most of them have been freed as well.

A recent case.
An ER doctor vanished after leaving work in Missouri. Nine days later, a kayaker found him dead in Arkansas
Emergency room physician John Forsyth sent a text to his fiancée in the early morning hours of May 21. He’d just finished his overnight shift at the hospital, he told her, and would see her in a little bit.

Then he abruptly stopped responding to messages, said his brother, Richard Forsyth. And that’s the last time his loved ones heard from him.

Surveillance footage from that day showed the doctor walking toward his RV outside the hospital in Cassville, Missouri, his brother said. Investigators told the family they found his Infiniti sedan unlocked at a nearby park. Inside the car were his two cell phones, wallet, passport, driver’s license, his work briefcase and the keys to his car and RV, Richard Forsyth said.

The father of eight was not only recently engaged, he had plane tickets to leave the next day for Idaho and Utah to visit some of his children, his brother said.

John Forsyth had recently finalized his divorce and was ordered to pay thousands of dollars a month in alimony and child support, Richard Forsyth said.

“Forsyth was so passionate about his job that he slept in his RV in the hospital parking lot when he had back-to-back shifts – so his missing work raised a red flag, his brother said.”

Yeah this guy was up to something shady.

Yeah this guy was up to something shady.

Reminds me of Dr Gonzo Gates on the Trapper John MD television series who lived in his motor home in the hospital parking lot. It makes sense if you only have 8 hours between shifts. We had a guy that worked where I did that lived in a motor home and another that lived in a van.

I don't know about his job as an emergency room doctor there but most places, emergency room duty is the least desirable and lower paid job for a doctor. If he was supposed to start paying thousands per month in child support and get married again it could have been stressful.
