Watching Unsolved Mysteries in the early 90's was 10x scarier than any horror movie. Robert Stack's voice and that theme song brought a cold shiver down my spine.

Three true crimes stories including a corpse that is found burnt in the same area as a UFO sighting, A woman is found butchered in a church and a teenage runaway pays back a stranger's kindness with violence.
I've met some of the Son of Sam guys back when I was back dealing. It's still going on today. Have you ever met someone that instantly creeps you out and something tells you to run away as fast as you can, take that x2 and that's what they're like.
They were some scary guys, you knew they were off there rockers and were very prone to violence.
One guy told me he could make the walls ooze blood or he could make someone sweat blood.
100% brah.
My fave show of all time. THAT theme tune, Stack, and everything I love - titbits of murders, disappearances, UFOs, ghostly shit, even some cryptozoology. I rinsed loads of 'em on Youtube while getting baked, then the channel disappeared sadly.
I wonder about that too.The link won't work for me, what are the Son of Sam guys? Like, David Berkowitz groupies or something?
They are a satanic cult that started on an airbase in ND that ended up in NY that Berkowitz became a part of.I wonder about that too.
Did the dog run a gang or something?
Ahhh right. I vaguely remember something about that. They are a satanic cult that started on an airbase in ND that ended up in NY that Berkowitz became a part of.

I thought David later said that he had lied about it. But maybe I don't remember it correctly. It has been such a long time since I read about him.
Ottis Toole said something similar.
The cult was called something like the Red Hand or Right Hand or something like that.
Edit: looked it up. It was supposedly called The Hand of Death.
Haha. Sounds like some lame Death Metal album.
Fitting with this thread.Berkowitz may not have been part of the cult but it definitely was a real thing. One of the members was killed on the Air Base and Berkowitz sent the sheriff a book about witch craft with a sentence underlined and wrote in the margin they went to cali to murder the lady at Stanford.
They run the story every once in awhile when the news is really slow.
Fitting with this thread.
The unsolved murder of Arlis Kay Perry
Neat.It's already in here.
Eye witness testimony is taken lightly for a reason.Son of Sam killings had eyewitnesses showing multiple different composite pics of gunmen who looked nothing like Berkowitz.
FYI...No new article this week due to holiday parties eating up my time. Should be back next Friday.
