Bisping vs GSP Height and Reach (stats inside)

Never said he'd "walk through" Bisping or even that GSP is guaranteed to win. I said the style match up favors GSP, which got your panties in a bunch for some reason, and then you made it personal for no reason, so maybe you're not quite the "fan" you claim to be if you're triggered by someone on Sherdog saying GSP has a good chance to win.

Bisping has been injured more than GSP and hasn't fought in a year anyway. At least GSP's eyes still work, he's still got a monster of a grappling game, he's got a better level of striking than Bisping, he's younger, has been knocked out less and has better fight IQ than Bisping.
 
I'm starting to believe that GSP will win. It's not going to be pretty though and he's going to get boo'd. Take down after take down and laying on Bisping for the win.

GSP hasn't fought in almost 5 years, had multiple surgeries, alien encounters, etc. So you don't know shit about how he will perform. Even he doesn't. And don't forget that he was obliterated by Matt fucking Serra..
Bisping is bigger, taller, better with his hands, has more power, solid takedown defense, gets right back up if he is taken down, great cardio, and a solid chin. The bloke has fought and won at LHW, for god sake.
Id favor GSP too.. If this was 2012.

Roids dont give the edge that silva has. Does it help with reflexes? He was out muscled most of the time.

But Bisping has gotten older, been KO'd and knocked down several times (which dulls your reflexes) and has permanent eye damage. It's a tough fight to call. I give the edge to GSP but wouldn't at all be surprised if Bisping won.

lol, this isn't a very smart post. while I contend that Bisping has a good shot at winning and I wouldn't be surprised at all if he does, your reasoning is inane.
Bisping has taken a good amount of damage in the last 5 years-GSP is obviously an even bigger question mark. But the Serra defeat, which is considered the biggest underdog championship win in history for a reason, is completely inconsequential to how GSP will perform now. Bisping lost via DECISION to a well out of his prime Wanderlei as well as to a host of other fighters. And bringing up how GSP looked after a clearly juiced up Hendricks is akin to posting a picture of Bisping napping after the Belfort fight.

I can say the same regarding your post. I bring up Serra because he was rocked, and tapped to strikes, from a 5'5" Matt Serra. To say that it won't affect the way he fights is akin to you saying you haven't seen a single fight since; as GSP has never been the same type of fighter again(much safer).
That would be true l, regarding the pic, except that it was the last time we've seen GSP in the Octagon. How many fights has Bisping had since the Belford fight?? Exactly.
 
Ive seen Anderson Silva super up close taking group pic with J. Barnett (HW), Babalu Sobral (LHW), and Feijao Calvacante (LHW).........and Spider was taller and bigger than them all. He is a ridiculous MW and prob one of the biggest in that weight class to ever compete in that weight class.

I only say that cause TS uses Silva in a size comparison to GSP. Id like GSP stand next to a natural MW like R. Whitaker and see that they could be very close in size.

Bisping is a specifically hand-picked opponent at MW and its based on skill alone. Chael decisioned Bis with sorry stand up and wrestling and Im sure Georges sees a path to victory here

The talk has always been how hendricks beat the crap out of GSP and was robbed a decision. Hendricks beat the crap out of GSP in the second round of that fight and GSP fought his heart out to eek out a victory on the cards. Re-watch that fight GSP wins three rounds and fought like a champion! most guys would have given up in the second round.

I don't think GSP gives up anymore height and reach than bisping did to rockhold, how did that go again?

Bisping is around 6 foot 1. Brian Stann is exactly 6 feet 1, and Bisping was identical to Stann when they were next to each other. GSP is close to 5 feet 10, and not 5 feet 11 (the UFC added an inch to his height, thinking he is going to MW). Will be about three inch height advantage for Bisping.
 
Bisping and whitaker were going to do the next ultimate fighter tuf thing but whitaker had to pull out do to a knee injury. A bisping whitaker fight would have followed.

Gsp lost to Hughes and had to fight 5 or 6 times before he got another shot and never complained. Rockhold needs to shut up and get in line.

There was a list of solid contenders at the time though. MW and WW are dry right now
 
I have pics with both of the and bisping and I are the same height and build. GSP was much shorter with a thick ass neck
