I don't really see how Bisping is at a crazy style disadvantage. You basically have one of the hardest guys to wrestle ever against one of the best wrestlers ever. The only problem is the wrestler has been out of action for a long time, is coming up in weight for the first time, and had another major knee surgery during that time.
And Georges know this, which makes me question why he chose to go up to 185? Why would he do that when it makes no sense, he is a 170 pound fighter, he isn't built for 185, and yet here we are with Georges insisting he is going to fight bigger fighters. It makes no sense to me if he wanted to make a come back.
I think I see the problem here. You are a GSP nut hugger who would blindly favor him against any opponent since you are of the opinion that a four year layoff, two knee surgeries, ring rust, not 1 middleweight fight, etc., will NOT affect GSP's performance. I'm sorry to be the one to tell you this, but that's not how the MMA works.Maybe you should watch a GSP fight before commenting.
Er, no. No it doesn't.
And Bisping is 38 (older than GSP), has had more fights in his career and more in the UFC, has lost more fights, has permanent eye damage...
I think I see the problem here. You're a GSP hater who would favor just about anyone on the roster over GSP since you're of the opinion that wanting something badly enough will make it happen. I'm sorry to be the one to tell you this, but that's not how the world works.
My guess is that GSP saw the weakest MW champion in UFC history and decided it was time to come back for an easy win and huge accolades (two weight class champion - etc.).
Hows the style match up favor GSP? Bisping has excellent TDD and solid hands with enough power to hurt Silva/Rockhold so certainly enough to hurt GSP. Bisings weakness has always been striking defense & getting rocked/hurt which shouldn't be much of a problem with GSPs pillow fists.
The style match up favors Bisping heavily.
Only thing GSP really has going for him is he's the better fighter overall. But he's also 3 years retired with a string of injuries.
the problem with gsp is dat dere ring rust.I don't think GSP will look terribly outsized, if the fight happens. The style match up favors GSP, so whatever he's giving up in size he gets right back due to the style clash, and that's before even considering his skill level. I think GSP takes this fight, but I'm not happy about it.
And 38 year old half-blind Bisping is going to beat him?I think I see the problem here. You are a GSP nut hugger who would blindly favor him against any opponent since you are of the opinion that a four year layoff, two knee surgeries, ring rust, not 1 middleweight fight, etc., will NOT affect GSP's performance. I'm sorry to be the one to tell you this, but that's not how the MMA works.
And Bisping has been the most active fighter ever?the problem with gsp is dat dere ring rust.
believe me when i tell you that i have saw bisping in person and there is no way in hell he is 6'2, hes not even 6'1. he seemed to be the exact same height as me and that is 6'0 even.the height stat is way exaggerated
rashad evans is listed as 5'11 which is very generous. does he look 3 inches taller than rashad here?
I've been a GSP fan since he fought in TKO, so you can eat a dick with all that. And 38 year old half-blind Bisping is going to beat him?
Keep hatin'. Your hate changes nothing.
