The man knows how to box for real. He is one of the best in the biz at setting up his punches.

Check out this highlight I just watched which accentuates his boxing ability.

I'm also starting to really admire the man's dedication to being a father and family man.

War Bisping!

Michael is definitely a good boxer for MMA. Don't know if it will be enough, though. Best of luck to him.

Too bad he has pillow fists a by product of his poor punching technique and stance/posture

yup. If he had a little more power behind his punches he could have been a true threat.

He has very under rated tdd, solid defensive skills, and some of the better boxing in MMA.

Against guys he can style on like Dan Miller and Akiyama.

... And the worst at putting guys to sleep.

Good night.

One highlight really? Where were the moves against Rockhold, Suzie?

He won the fight, nice goal post moving.

But anyways, you were wrong about Mike only being able to set up his punches on mediocre fighters. He did it against Anderson.

Luke is gonna smash Bisping again and Luke is a better fighter than Anderson anyways so i dont know what that proves.

Rockhold is pretty good at setting up his kicks. Last time Mike thought the back hand was coming and moved his head directly into the back kick.

Hopefully he learned from that.

his boxing is crisp and his defensive wrestling may be enough. I only say that because he was simply overpowered the first time, if perhaps he can get past the second round, he can settle into a rhythm and control the latter stages, if the first round is close then it may be a bisping decision

Bisping's box is OK, not bad and not great.

Someone with great box isnt getting killed by that Hendo overhand or by old, past it Wanderlei flurries.

Maybe if Bisping had more power his hands would be more dangerous.

What makes Bisping a decent striker is his intensity and pace. He can really put it on. But in terms of pure finesse and fluidity and power he is OK.

He is better than most of his haters like to admit, but he's still not beating Rockhold. Would be pretty shocked if he proved me wrong. There is always a chance though.

always underrated and very skilled all around. Top 5-10 his entire career, even at LHW. Glad he gets a chance to fight for the belt before he retires. Came really close several times before, including a few questionable loses. Has lost some of his cockiness and "i've never really lost a fight" attitude that drove me mad. Respect.

He's going to lose though.

He still has that "never really lost a fight" attitude. Against Rockhold it was the headbutt, against Kenndy he came back too early from his injuries, etc. Hendo, Vitor, etc. was due to TRT. He's never lost a fight and not had an excuse. I don't have a problem with him believing it, but he's a very poor loser. After he loses to Rockhold again he'll back away from his short camp being an advantage talk and say he did his best with the time he had.
